hello guys ! need help finding out what all of the merchandise of balto that was ever made ? well this guide may help you. you if you get really lucky can find this stuff on ebay.
in the US we got : laying down balto plush
these to my knowlage were sold at toys r us when the movie was in theathers in 1995. these are very hard to find nowadays and are super rare. these are harder to find then the sitting ones. cuter in a way to. these go anywere on ebay from 150 to 400 dollars.
balto snowglobe
these were never released ro the public , was . but they never got around to it. :( this was a promotional item given to the people who worked on the balto film , therefor , there is very little of these around. these were given out christmas of 1995. if you do find these anywhere the price will probualy be around 100 to 500 dollars. the last time this was seen on ebay was ebay in 2008.
balto US soundtrack ( i think the UK one also had the same cover )
though not as rare as the plushies or figures , this soundtrack can still be hard to find cheap. this was released when the movie came out in 1995. you could probualy have found this at a regular store like walmart or something. nowadays , the only place you could get this is ebay or amazon.
balto sweather
i don't quite know the orgins of this sweather weather it was sold in the US or in france , this was a very awesome find one day when i stumbled upon it's existance. i do believe that this was sold around 1995 . this you could probualy find on ebay , but it would cost you a pretty penny. like 50 to 100 dollars. or maybe even more.
balto flim clippings from the trailer
again , not another offical item , but a promo item. these are flim clippings from the balto trailer. to my knowlage these are probauly from 1994 or 1995. you can find these on ebay from time to time , and these may go for 10 to 20 bucks , i don't think they'd go any higher then that.
balto animation cel balto and the team
again , not an offical item , but it is one of the promo items. these were used in the production of the balto movie when it was made in 1994 - 1995. these are not easy to find , so be prepared to pay 200 to 1,000 on these things.
another balto sweather
another cool find. i did'nt even know these existed. these are super rare and they were made when the movie came out in 1995. you can find this on ebay. it would be around 50 to 100 dollars.
balto shoes ( different )
these i never knew existed either. these are very rare , and these were made when the movie came out in 1995. they can be found on ebay , but if your willing to pay between 50 to 200 dollars for these balto shoes.
balto US press kit ( black and white photo verision )
this is not an offical item , and was used to promote the movie when it came out in 1995. these can be found on ebay , and they can be around 10 - 50 dollars.
balto ( what seems to be a sweatshirt type thing )
again this is offical. weather it was sold in the US or in france is unknown. but if it was sold it was 1995. if you find this on ebay it would be around 50 - 150 dollars.

this was the DVD release for balto when it came out on DVD in 2002. the same year wolfquest was made. these are easy to find , and you maybe be lucky to still find this at the store , or on ebay and amazon. it will go for around 10 - to 50 dollars.
balto stickers ( the type of stickers you would get at a doctors office )
these are offical , and were made when the movie was released in theathers in 1995. these were probauly sold at a doctors office. you can find these on ebay , but they are probauly around 5 to 50 dollars.
sitting balto plush ( photo is of MY balto plush )
these are quite rare. not as rare as the laying ones , but are still hard to find. these were sold at toys r us when the movie was released in 1995. i was lucky to get mine off of ebay for 55 bucks. these can be found on ebay and amazon sometimes. you can find these from 100 to 350 dollars.
balto DVD 3 pack with the land berfore time and an american tail
this was realesed in 2008. and this is still quite easy to find. you can still find this at the store for 5 bucks. it can be found on ebay and amazon for around 5 to 20 bucks.
balto the movie storybook
this is one of the rarer storybooks. this came out when the movie was out in 1995. you can find it on ebay and amazon , and if you're really lucky you can get it at a thrift store. these go for 10 to 30 bucks.
sitting jenna plush ( i own one of these )
this is rare , but not as cute or as rare as the laying one. this came out at toys r us when the movie was in theathers in 1995. you can get these on ebay and amazon. these can go around 100 to 350 dollars.
balto junior novel
this is one of the common balto books. this was made when the movie came out in 1995. you can find these on ebay and amazon , even thrift stores. this book goes from 5 to 30 dollars.
balto DVD backer card
just discovered this , but this is a backer card from when the movie was released in 2002. you can find this on ebay and amazon for 2 to 10 bucks.
balto the hero storybook
one of the last balto storybooks made in the us. except those that are promo. this is the lesser rare of the other two books and was sold when the movie came out in 1995. you can find them on ebay and amazon for around 5 to 10 bucks.
balto ll wolf quest DVD
this is the balto ll wolf quest DVD that came out when the flim was released in 2002. these ar super easy to find , but can sometimes be pricey. you can find them on ebay and amazon for around 10 to 50 bucks.
muk plush
this was the only plush of muk ever made. he was sold at toys r us when the movie came out in 1995. he is very easy to find. you can find him on ebay. he goes for 30 to 100 dollars.
laying jenna plush
told you she's adorable ! she is rare rarer then the sitting one. she was sold when the movie came out in 1995 at toys r us. she can be found on ebay and amazon. she goes for 100 to 400 dollars.
hardees balto figures
these are not as rare as the KFC ones , but they are kinda hard to find cheap. you can find these on ebay and amazon. they go around 30 - 80 dollars. the bag looked like this

I think you may be referring to the Hardee's toy. It isn't rare, but
people tend to want waaay to much money (and that goes for any Balto
merchandise) for a piece of plastic. They look cheaply made anyway,

I have a balto action figure thing.He's plastic and he is 7 cm long
and 1 cm thick but the fur on his neck is 1 and a half cm.Hes standing
up and only his 4 legs can move.Anyone else have this or is he rare? |

The only thing I can see missing from this list is the 3 pack DVD set
of all three movies. I have no idea if you can get that in the U.S.
but here in NZ I was able to buy it at The Warehouse for $10. |

If I were to get the Balto bedsheets, I would be thrilled... and kind
of tickled about the irony, because... well, to make a long story
short (and weird), I once ripped a big hole in my favorite bedsheet
doing something inspired by Balto. I won't say what because even
though I was a kid I'm still embarrassed by just how dumb it was. |

Lol I have some of this... In the order the the pictures are shown, I
have: The Balto soundtrack, the US DVD (I also have the widescreen UK
print), the sitting Balto plush, the Animated Family Favourites DVD
set, Balto the Movie Storybook, the Junior Novelization, Balto the
Hero, and Balto 2: Wolf Quest on DVD. I also have Balto 3: Wings of
Change on DVD, as well. |

Just Keep looking. They Appear on eBay , Amazon , And at Second

I know how you feel. I only sadly own the sitting Balto plush and
the DVD of the first one. I do plan on getting more Balto stuff , but
that's gonna be difficult. I wanted to do my whole room Balto themed.
XD I'm trying to acquire the Balto plushies , as they are probably
gonna be about 500 each by the time I turn 18. :/ I only need sitting

You'd be lucky to find any Balto merchandise in a second hand shop or rummage sale. Not saying that you can't, you just need a lot of luck. The last time I ever found any merchandise was like 04/05ish, and that was the Balto The Hero book; which I did buy. |

Gosh, there is a great deal of Balto merchandise out there, but I've
never really came across any, due to the fact that I'm in the UK XD I have seen some of these on ebay, but that's obviously the US side. I'm going to the US soon, so I'll be sure to try and find something and probably purchase for keepsake, as it's an open opportunity then. Pretty expensive though, but obviously because of the rarity. |

I think you misunderstood the page. If you read the page I linked, you

As AC has stated on the forums, these were presented to the production crew as a Christmas gift during the film's premiere. I'm also not sure that 2008 was the last time one was seen on Ebay. Unless AC has gotten his hands on another globe, I recall seeing the snowglobe listed on his site back in 2006. I'm not saying that you're wrong, but I'm going to have to say that the last known globe seen was shortly after Ebay launched which was 1995. Just FYI, there were no cels used in the actual production, it was all
digital. The cels that were made were commissioned to be made. http://fluke.theicecave.org/cells.shtml I also think this article has room for improvement. |
