History;

When Karen was a pup her parents were not pleased when she was born, so they one day brang her to rapid waters. The mother had Karen in her mouth by the scruff as she walked up to the edge of a cliff. She then said, "Goodbye..." She then let go and Karen was falling down into the rapid waters. The parents then walked back to their den without caring about their daughter's life. But for they did not also know that Karen survived throughout the whole dangerous plung into the water. They also did not know that she was born with a element...water. When Karen hit the water's surface she just immediatly started walking swiftly on the water's strong current. When she went down into the water she chould breath normally. So water sure wasn't the way to kill Karen...

When Karen reached land Aniu found her and took her to her den, (this was a while ago before Aniu was killed). When Balto first layed eyes on her he knew that they were going to have quite a life together, Karen yapped at him as Aniu set her down. Balto smiled shyly at Karen and Karen smiled back. She darted towards Balto and tackled him down, "Hi my name's Karen, how is it going? Where am I? Is this your den? Is that your mom? Is that my mom? I'm confused...GIVE ME ANSWERS....!!!" Karen said. Balto's eyes widened, "Uhhhhhh..."

When Karen matured to the age of 2 years she had a special bond with Balto. One day she was journeying in the forests with her "brother" as they heard Aniu's howl. But it did not seem like a pleasant howl. Karen and Balto immediatly darted towards their mother's howl (Karen considers Aniu as her mum). When they arrived they found a sorrowful sight. Aniu was laying face down on the ground with wounds all over her body, hunters had shot and slashed her. Balto cried with terror and depression as Karen stood there in surprise, she then felt a tear run from her eye to her cheek, "This cannot be happening!!" She thought. Karen walked over to Balto and glanced at her long lost mother, "I will never forget you..." Karen said. Balto fell down and sobbed into his dead mother's pelt. Karen sighed with depression and sat next to Balto and joined in. Her ears then perked up, she heard a russle in a bush. She snarled, "WHO'S THERE?!!!" Balto got up and realized what Karen was so worried about. Okami, a black wolf with orange eyes darted out of the bushes, "What happened here?" He asked. Karen looked into his eyes seeing that he was lost, "What...what...who...who are you?" Karen asked. "Name's Okami Kogai...you?" The black male replied. Karen sighed, "Karen...is...she...alive Balto?" Balto shook his head, Karen then tried to keep the tears in but Okami ran up to her and touched noses, "Let it out..." He said soothingly. She blushed but did as he told her, she let all her sorrow out. Balto walked towards Aniu and laid beside her remembering what good times they had together. Especially the time when Aniu brang Karen to the den. Karen looked up at Okami and smiled shyly, "Thank you..." She then realized that she was in love with this friendly wolf, but she didn't know that he felt the same.
