Personality: Akiak is quite the opposite to Atka; He's a causious and somewhat serious character, who chooses very carefully who to be around and always thinks twice before getting into something. He is often known as Atka's voice of reason and usually the very guy he listens to and who gets him back to his senses if he's about to do something that shouldn't be done. Akiak has a noble heart and he always wants to do what's right - even if it means giving up something he believes in, but he likes to think that no matter how bad things might seem, everything always turns out all right. He is extremely against any kind of violence and fighting, but he will defend his mate and his pack even with his life if it's necessary. Akiak also has a soft spot for pups, he loves to play with them and hopes to have some of his own some day.

History: Akiak was born to a pack of wolves in the woods far away from the town of Nome, Alaska. His parents were the pack's betas, and very close friends to the pack leader, Ataneq. Since Akiak and his siblings were born around the same time as Ataneq and his mate's litter, from which unfortunately only one pup survived and the alpha female perished, Akiak and Ataneq's only son, Atka, became friends at a very early age and as they were growing up, they developed a brotherly bonding for each other. When they were  in their late teens, Atka and Akiak were practising their hunting when they had to rescue a young female wolf from getting ran over by a herd of caribous. Akiak saw she was quite beautiful, but so far, he kept it just to himself. And, as they brought her back to the pack, Ataneq had an idea to bethrode her with Atka - who, surprisingly, was not at all pleased with this idea and the female, who had introduced herself as Iluq, was almost half as much excited about it. For she had noticed Akiak, and he'd caught her eye, not the alpha's son. While Atka went and discussed the situation with his father, Akiak took the chance and introduced the pack's territories to Iluq. The two spent the entire day together and only returned when it was sundown, and already they had found out they both enjoyed each other's company a lot. During the next few days, their feeling started to warm up for one another and they soon were falling for each other quite fast. Akiak went to talk to his friend, and begged him to convince his father to allow him and Iluq to be mates, Atka went to his father and told him everything, and finally Ataneq gave Akiak and Iluq his blessing, as he was almost like a son to him too. Both of them were overwhelmed, and Atka was happy for his friend. Then, after some time had passed and they all were full grown adults, Atka shocked the entire pack by bringing a guest - a WOLFDOG named Kiska. Everybody was outraged, and Ataneq wanted his son nowhere near a half breed like her, and for a while, Akiak was in agreenment with everyone but after he saw how happy Kiska made Atka - and how much he cared for her, he decided that his friend's happiness would come first and agreed to help Atka and Kiska in their crisis.
