Enemies- Steele, even though at this point Benny has lost interest.

Body-

Build - Generally, he is a near spitting image of his deceased great grandfather - Chase - the two have many of the same traits. Benny though, lacks the muscle definition, is a bit fluffier, and his face is a bit more feminine

Height- Much smaller than average. Is just taller than Jenna. 

Weight- Skinny

When rendered- Skinnier, more gangly Balto. Longer, husky fur and curled tail. Fur around neck is thick and fluffy, like Jenna's. Eyes are narrower than Jenna's. Very sharp features.

Personality- Benny is incredibly sarcastic and snarky. He doesn't stand for much, and actually has a pretty good moral compass - this is just lost in the heaps of sarcasm he throws into whatever he's trying to say. He also can seem incredibly whiny, but that is just his voice. Despite being so little, Benny isn't afraid of much that can actually hurt him. He will speak his mind about anything to anyone. Loves to mess around with others, but this is mostly all in good fun and non malicious. However, he has been known to take it too far sometimes and can jsut be a regular pain in the neck. 

Likes- Most things. It doesn't seem like this as Benny is often critical of everything. He's a fan of the simple things in life. Seems to have a soft spot for puppies, and possible wants to have a family of his own. 

Dislikes- His mothers, many of his half siblings, Iron's treatment of others. He especially dislikes those who don't take kindly to his humor.

Hates- Steele, although at this point it's more of a grudge. Hates him not for his racing ways, or the whole Diptheria incident, but for how Steele has treated not only Benny himself but his siblings as well.

Bio-

From the moment Benny was born, he was talking. For quite some time, he had no idea what he was saying - in the beginning it was just excited utterances to the world around him - to his bleary puppy eyes, the world was a gorgeous and filmy place and his mother's soft voice welcomed he and his siblings every morning. Things changed when their father returned to the picture. His name was Steele, and from the moment Benny saw him he knew there was something very off about him. He was a large black and white sleddog with shifty iced eyes and hate on his breath. Their mother, Jenna, didn't back up his apprehension at all and instead encouraged them to try and form some bond with their father. Only one of them did - Benny stayed far away - and it was Benny's closest sibling, Iron. Benny couldn't stand the way Steele pushed his larger brother around, or any of his other family members for that matter, and with his ceaseless voice he forged himself a weapon. Snark and sarcasm came naturally to him for whatever reason, and so did trouble.  Benny found himself being escorted to his grandfather's residence numerous times as his mother couldn't handle him. Iron often tagged along for being Benny's gaurd and follower - he was a very loyal pup and the two were as thick as thieves. Their grandfather, Vincent, shouldn't have been given the task of dealing with a troublesome pup and his larger body gaurd. Vincent, in short, was where all the sarcasm in the family spouted from, and if anything he only made Benny worse. Benny found a kindred spirit in the older dog and Vincent quickly became a role model for him.

One day, Benny wished he'd gotten into trouble. It was towards the end of his stay with his mother - he and his siblings were getting bigger and would be adopted soon. Jenna and Steele had gotten into a huge fight that day, and while things cooled down their uncle, Caesar had taken them to the beach. He'd disappeared after Jenna had darted towards him, saying something that managed to pull him away. Being bored of watching the waves, Benny decided to form a game with his siblings - there was a large outcrop of rocks that'd be suitable for jumping off of and he'd decided to make a contest of who could go the farthest. Benny went first, and instead of diving beneath the waves he splashed through a thin layer of water, then hit something very hard. Any notion of swimming escaped him, and everything went dark. When he came to, Iron was standing above him looking beyond terrified, salty droplets spattering off of his fur. From that moment on, the two were closer than ever. 

That is, until they were adopted. With his already atheletic physique, Iron was quickly snatched up by a sled driver looking for new prospects. Being the decided runt of the litter, Benny was not so lucky in that department. He was lucky in another though - Vincent's owner had reached out to adopt him and Benny couldn't be happier to spend more time with his favorite family member. He tried to make time to see Iron, but oftentimes his brother was too busy, so he'd just hang around their practices - cheering Iron on in the only way he knew how - with snarky jeers and sass ridden laments. On one of these outings, he met a strong willed young female named Miita, and she quickly became a fixture in his life.

As his friendships grew with others around him, his relationship with Iron dropped out completely. The two had a huge falling out after Steele had returned from a large racing trip. A thick gold collar hung around his neck and his empty compliments gleamed in Iron's eyes. Iron had changed. He'd become a dog who lived to please Steele and it made Benny sick. Benny sought Steele out first and spewed out all the venom he'd harbored for him in his short life. Much to Benny's horror, and disgust, his father barely batted an eyelash - only gave a low growl and turned away from him. He must have relayed this to Iron though, because no more than a day later, Iron sought Benny out and the two fell out in the most spectacular way possible. From that point on, they were more strangers than brothers, and most days they absolutely loathed each other. 

While this was going on, Benny finally got around to acquainting himself with his half-siblings. His mother, Jenna, had taken up with the local hero - Balto and produced quite a few litters. Vincent was the main facilitator in one of the few who matters - a strong willed half-sister named Dakota. Benny admired her immensely - she was very loyal to her human and had a personality he could really connect with. Instead of spending time with Iron, he'd try his best to seek her out. She wasn't always the happiest to see him though - but this was primarily when she was with her human. He also became much closer with Miita, and the two actually became a couple. It was very off and on, but the two were never not friends. 

This changed after Benny took a chance trip to the local woods. He found a small husky pup, all alone. He was just about to try and see if her parents were around when a thunderous roar sounded from behind him and a hulking bear came into view. Normally Benny would have just ran, but something inside him told him he couldn't - and it was either he stand his ground or he take the pup with him as he ran. He took the pup, and didn't look back - there was nothing but the bear anyways - and didn't stop till he quite literally ran into Miita. She was, at first, livid at him. She thought he'd stolen some poor couple's child, but it soon became apparent this was false. Benny then blurted out that they'd raise the pup from here on out, the pup liked this idea, and Miita was too exasperated by all this to say no. Benny christened the pup with the name of Spot and from there on out, he was a father.

Benny is absolutely terrified of water. He even refuses to go on ice unless it's deemed to be safe. 

• Subsequently Benny does not know how to swim.

Benny and Iron were once best friends until the events of the movie happened. 

Benny will never admit it, but he did miss Iron quite a bit. Always hoped that they'd become close again.

Benny has very stark parallels to his great-grandfather - Chase. Their personalities, childhood experiences, builds, and much of their choices in situations are similar. Another, much darker, parallel is their untimely deaths. 

• Is he the reincarnation of Chase? No. The similar situations are what forged their personalities (Vincent didn't help Benny either) and Benny just happened to get Chase's build. (His uncle, Caesar, also has Chase's build - as does Vincent. Vincent's fur is just so long and thick that it obscures this fact.)
