Personality:

Carter is a husky/wolf mix who lives for the fun side of things. The thing she likes best is racing with her fur in the breeze, the thing she hates the most is sleeping and standing still. 

Carter has won her team 13 races and 3 championships. Carter leads the rivaling team of steele's and the two despise each other.

Love life...

Though Carter has a keen interest in male dogs, she's not much for romance and prefers fun and adventure over all. Many would call her an unproductive dog and a waste because she does not really want a mate. If she were to meet the right dog, she would consider mating.

Puppy life....

Carter is the speedy lead dog for a rivaling dogsled team of Steele’s. Carter is no lapdog. Though her parents are unknown to her she is daughter of Balto’s father and Aniu, and sister of Balto. Because of her wolf heritage she has unusual agility, strength and speed because she is thought to be a husky mix. This makes her priceless as a lead dog. Though Carter has the need for speed and is a priceless member of a dogsled team, her life was not always this good. Let’s start off with the pup years. During the era when Oil was all people thought about two men, criminals, Josef S. Clemmings, and Ugine skults came across a goldmine. This goldmine was not a regular one though, it was made up of strong huskies that could be sold to breeders, racers, and mail teams for a quick dime. So, one night Clemmings and Skults decided to kidnap the beloved family pets and sell them to get quick money.  While the criminals were preforming there silent act a young wolf/husky pup got caught up in the commotion while wandering around in the woods, Lost. Later when Clemmings and Skults sold the dogs and made there buck, the wolf/husky pup was discovered and sold with a discount to a family. Little did the culprits know that the family they sold the young pup to was the Sheriff’s. Two days later the men were arrested. Though the pup was stolen property, or so they though, the family decided to keep the pup, and named her, Carter.

Teen's....

As a dog 1 year and 3 months old and living in the household of a sheriff, Carter was taken along with the Sheriff on every law-enforcement case he got for protection. Later Carter was discovered to be very swift on her feet when she out ran a couple of "moonshiners" and made their arrest possible. Carter was arranged a time share with one of the top dogsled racing teams in town and trained for 2 months before her first race, in which she won.

Young Adult....

As a dog, now 2 years old, Carter had won them 8 races and 1 championship. Carter was the shining light of dogsled racing and was a prized dog. Carter then decided she would give it all she had for a second championship. But just after the race before it, in which she lost and Steele won, the sheriff's daughter, a good friend fell ill. It was the Diphtheria Epidemic. Fearing for the innocent child’s life she decided to run in a race to assemble a team to get the anti-toxin. She failed. Fearing now, not for her career but for her friend she set out on her own, and followed Steele's team. During her departure she hear news that another dog, named Balto, was setting out on the same journey as her. She learned he was the fastest dog but was left off of the team because he was part wolf. She then set out following Balto and using her tracking skills and speed, even found him before Balto. Carter was badly injured when Steele rammed her at the first site. As Balto was going away with the team she stirred, only to find Steele struggling to climb up the cliff. She argued with herself about what t do and finally decided to help him, only to be rammed again. When she woke instead of tracking Steele for her revenge she followed Balto using the same method of marking her trail as he did. But when she found him, it was only the team. Balto's team was there sitting in the snow, When she went up to them they screamed like little girls, but she finally made peace. They sold her that Balto and the serum had gone off the cliff, so immediately she went for help. She trudged though the rough snow, only to stop in the middle of the woods and morn. She had just had a memory of the sent, Balto's sent. The she smelled another familiar one. Standing in front of her was a Huge arctic wolf. The wolf spoke, "Are you giving up then child?" "What else is left" Carter replied. "You have braved far worse than this, you know what you must do." "I can't embrace it, I'm not a wolf!" "Of course you are child; I'm you mother, and you, my offspring. This is nothing to be ashamed of." She then heard certain words utter in her mind, "No dog, can make this journey along, but maybe, a wolf can." She then got up out of the snow and stood strong. "This is not my day to be a hero! Balto needs our help, follow me!" She then ran down to the cliff and directed her kin she the site where Balto was. Aniu went down to encourage Balto, she same way she did Carter. Carter then saw Balto was alive, and howled with joy. She then turned around to go home, following the marks Balto made on his trail and scratching the snow, but suddenly she saw many new marks were there. "STEELE..." she uttered. She followed Steele's sent until she found him then attacked him ripping his collar away. "You selfish bore! You don't deserve to wear one of these; I helped you get up that cliff!" Steele lounged at her. She lumped out of the way just in time and up into a rock covered in snow. The snow then fell, covering Steele and she walked off without the collar because it was buried. A week after the Epidemic had ended, she again stole Steele's collar and gave it to Balto. Later that day, Balto appeared with the collar. "You earned this" he said as he put it on her. She embarrassed her brother and from then on joined him in many of his adventures.
