Name: Charlie
Age: Young adult
Breed: Mutt (Terrier mix)
Parents: Unknown (two strays)
Siblings: Unknown (many)
Mate: None
Crush(es): Has huge crushes on Darby and Piper (both (c) me)
Crusher(s): None
Pups: None
Personality: Charlie has a laid-back, chill persona. He loves living life and tends to go with whatever life throws at him. Charlie's easily excitable and is very energetic. Mischievous and sneaky, Charlie gets into a lot of trouble because he always has his nose in everything. He tends to be an easy target for people to tease him.
Charlie is a very sweet guy, once one gets past the endless energy. He's outgoing but can be a klutz around girls he's trying to impress. He likes to make people laugh and is quite the jokester, but, in general, just likes to make others happy. Despite this, he can be selfish.
He lives a carefree lifestyle and things don't really bother him. It takes a lot to get him angry, but he gets more frustrated and annoyed than anything. He doesn't take much seriously, but knows when to when it's required. Charlie tends to be immature and sometiems tells jokes at the worst times; he is also a great listener and cares deeply about his friends.
Likes: Fetch, food, sleeping, telling jokes, impressing Darby and Piper, when Darby yells at him, his life, snow, his tennis ball, stealing people food, his friends
Dislikes: When Darby or Bishop (c) me) tease him, Brutus ((c) me; Charlie's scared of him), getting into trouble, when he trips over his own words/feet, when trying to impress a girl, sleeping in the doghouse
Occupation: House dog
History: Charlie was born a stray in a rather large litter in Rochester, New York. His parents were strays that lived on the streets and their struggle to survive only got harder when Charlie and his siblings arrived. Some of his siblings were too weak and died, but Charlie managed to survive. His parents soon became overwhelmed and decided to leave their pups on the porches of peoples houses in hopes that they'd have a better life. Charlie was left on the porch of a small family that had decided to take him in.
The family realized that Charlie was too excitable for their likings, but they tried to keep him. It was when he began causing messes around the house that they took him to the pound. He spent some time in there and got on the uthanization list because of how crowded the pound became. Luckily, a young woman, who happened to be visiting family in Rochester, came into the pound looking for her grandfather's dog. She didn't find him, but she did find Charlie and grew attached to him the moment she saw him. She saved his life and took him back to her family's estate in northern Rochester where they fell in love with him as well.
Almost a year later, the young woman got engaged to a man. The man didn't fancy dogs to begin with and, because of Charlie's energy, quickly grew to dislike the young dog. The man had the young woman get rid of him and it was a painful goodbye. Neither dog nor human would be the same once they seperated.
Charlie spent a little while on the streets, getting chased away by other humans each time he tried to eat from a garbage can or when he appeared on their porches. He would often hop trains to get to new places and, while he was in Connecticut (he travelled a lot, never staying in one place for too long), hopped a train that led him into Canada. While in Canada, two siblings, Alexandra and Peter Foster took pity on Charlie, seeing how malnourished he was, and brought him to the local veterinarian. With some food and shelter, Charlie became his old self again, though he tried to keep guarded, figuring the two would throw him out.
The siblings didn't reside permanently in Canada, only staying for a little while. They took a train or two that led them back to Nome, Alaska and back to the Foster Estate where they resided. Charlie quickly became his old self and the Foster family was happy with such an energetic dog. He quickly settled into his new home, quickly meeting Darby, daughter of Balto and Jenna (c) Universal), and Piper (c) me), developing crushes on them. He found his circle of friends as well as his permanent home.
Other: Charlie is a little smaller than Balto. He's of the same build, but is a bit fluffier. His tail is half the size of Balto's and holds it up, almost perpendicular to the ground.
Relation to Balto: Best friends with his daughter and son (c) me; has a crush on his daughter
Vocie: Greg Cipes

Thanks for the fave :] And I think you're doing well for a beginner. I use Paint to render and then the Pixlr Photo Editor to color it in. Both are easy to use :] I hope this helps you! |
