Name: Charter

Age: 2 human years

Gender: Male

Personality: Charter's a charming young lad, and a good sport. He'll like you even if you hate him. He has the canine equivalent of sportsmanship. He's an optimistic younger dog and won't let anyone get in his way.

History: Charter was born from a caring  Fox Terrier mother and has a father of Siberian Husky and Timber Wolf blood. This makes him a wolfdog, but a small one at that.  His mother was on a show dog trip in Alaska with her human family when she met a charming wolfdog and mated with him. She was taken back to Orange, New Jersey with her soon to be born  wolfdog pups. Unfortunately, they were born in deep winter, and  though it is not as cold as Alaska during winter, New Jersey was pretty cold. Two pups survived, Charter and his brother. Charter was given his name after his great grandfather, Charter Yukon. One day, Charter went back to Alaska with his human family, the Sabia family, and found  the boiler room that our great Balto had been in. He was fascinated by it, and spoke to the local dogs. But, none of them liked him; they just made fun of him for being a small wolfdog. Then, Ol' Nanana, the avalanche dog, asked Charter about his past. 

This is where Charter found out that he comes from a family of great sled dogs. His father was a wolfdog nicknamed, Ol' Alaskan, because he had won every race all over Alaska. He also found out about his great granfather, whom was Ol' Yukon, a sled dog that saved his musher by fighting an angry  grizzly bear on the Yukon river that was previously  attacking.

Charter had no idea that the dogs were putting him down so that he'd go back home and  never fulfill his father's wish: for Charter to become another great sledder.

But Charter did the exact opposite of what they wanted: he became a great sledding wolfdog. He may have been smaller than the other dogs on the team, but he was lead dog after all!

Charter is still a sledder to this day, and he now sleeps on a comfy pillow in the boiler room with a good bone. His human family moved to Nome, Alaska, and Charter and his mother found Ol' Alaskan, Charter's father, whose legendary son lives on with pride in his blood.

Mate/Love Interest: He has no love interest and is too young for a mate.    

 Living spots/family "back home": Charter's lived in several places, and most suprising is... Arizona!

Arizona: "The rock's as dry as it looks," Charter says. "Everyone's nice and all, but it's so... hot! No need for a tanning booth, but everyone needs a pool. I had some trouble living in Arizona, because it was so hot. I think my fur burned off. I loved Arizona, don't get me wrong, but my fur had to be cute down short so that I'd stay cool in the sun."

My human family's got folks back in Arizona, and sometimes we visit. But, when we do, we visit in winter, when it's kinda cold in Arizona. I don't have to go to that wretched groomer, but I do have to stay in the pool of I'm outside."

Orange, New Jersey: "Ah.... good Ol' Orange. I love Orange. Not too cold, not too warm. And I never have to worry about the grommer shaving my fur off! The only thing was.... street fights. Not normally by dogs, but by the humans. And crime wasn't the best either. But, Orange had it's urban jungle charm and I grew fond of it. To be honest, I'd rather live there, than in Nome."

My mama's side of the family still lives in Orange. My papa's lives in Fairbanks, Alaska. So, we visit both places once and a while."

Nome & Fairbanks: "Nome's amazing, Fairbanks, too. But it's not the greatest place in the world to me. The dogs aren't too nice, 'cept for maybe my papa and mama. It's a little chilly, but the snow's great! I love snow, love to romp around in it! So that's a bonus."

As I said, my papa's side lives in Fairbanks."
