Personality: 

not very good at doing things, he's rather clumsy and fears to do something because he's sure that he'll do it wrong; he gets often in trouble and his companions have to save him, which makes him feel even more awkward; he doesn't believe in himself and thinks to be a total mess; scared of almost everything, he has one quality though, he's very intelligent and is able to create good plans for the hunt, even if he's not brave enough to practice them.

 

History: 

rejected at birth because of being so small, Cole was left to die under a tree, waiting for an eagle or a bear or even a fox to get him. Luck made sure that it didn't happen. A group of hunting dogs was tracking down a bear when they found him. Of course, they couldn't let a so tiny pup all alone and so, the leader of the group, Leonida, carefully brought him to his human master. With the right cares, the pup survived and became the team's new addiction. They already had a wolf with them, Vladmir and they all hoped that young Cole could grew up like him. But the teen wolf had many difficulties, he was scared of hunting bears, he was scared of getting hurt or worse, killed. He needed much training and not all of his companions had a lot of patience. Plus his training wasn't bringing him anywhere and he never made any improvements. Pachua took him under his protective wing and treated him like a son. He had much more patience than the others and tried to give him some courage. Near their base camp, a she wolf, Yue, was sometimes giving him a hand when they needed and Cole noticed that Pachua liked her. The young wolf wanted to feel like if he'd had a family with Pachua but he was missing a "mother" and Yue looked like the perfect girl to fit that role. 

 

Related to Balto:

his foster father Pachua has a sister, Cora who's Brandon's mate. Brandon is Balto's son (the red faced pup).
