Personality: Denali is a fun loving and laid back wolf with a good sense of humour, he enjoys having a laugh and acting a little childish every now and then and goofing off, also he loves playing with pups like his old man. He's a wolf who doesn't worry too much or let things buther him, and usually he just buries his feelings and pretends nothing bad ever happened, which has a habbit of coming to haunt him later. Denali, very much like his mother has a golden heart, he is always ready to listen if his pack mates have something on their hearts or even more so if it's a family member, Denali cares for his family more than anything and would even be ready to give his life for them. Despite this little punkish or somewhat reckless attitude, he is a sensible guy who regocknises the difference between right and wrong, he's got a good sense of justice and he doesn't believe in violence, and has what it takes to be a good leader.

History: Denali was born as the younger son of the alpha pair of a wolf pack that lived in the forests near the town of Nome, Alaska. He had one older brother, who he shared a very deep and close bond with just like with his parents. Denali and his brother Takoda used to do everything together, they shared all good and bad things and all secrets together, and Denali always considered Takoda his role model. Since he was the older son, Takoda was supposed to take after Cherokee as the next alpha - but faith decided to step in. One faithful day, as Denali was in his pre teens and Takoda was already a grown up, he was left for Takoda's care while their parents were away. They ventured to a rapid river which had a strong stream, and Denali wandered away from his big brother to chase a rabbit. The young wolf pup didn't realize the danger that was ahead - he was running towards the river, and just as he was about to catch the rabbit, he slipped on the edge and fell straight in to the river, not knowing how to swim of course. Denali kept popping up to the surface, gasping for air and the stream kept dragging him under water, he cried for help and Takoda rushed up to the river, not hesitating for one moment and jumped in for his brother's help. Denali managed to climb on a rock whilst Takoda swam towards him, fighting against the stream. Finally, he reached Denali, grabbed him by his neck and got a hold of one bigger rock, throwing him onto the shore to safety. Denali got up on his feet and called for his brother's name, but just then the powerful stream took him with it. Denali watched helplessly as the river took his brother with it, tears rose in to his eyes and he fell into ground, crying desperately. A lot later in the evening Denali was still by the river, Cherokee found him and came rushing up to him, asking where he had been. Then, when he asked where Takoda was, Denali broke into tears again and only then, when Cherokee looked into the river, he realized what had happened. The same night, the entire pack held a memorial moment and howled for the alpha's deceased son, and Denali could not help but to blame himself for Takoda's death. He though that if he had never wandered off and gone after the rabbit, this never would've happened - no matter how much his parents told him otherwise. When he grew into an adult wolf, Denali had still remembered his brother's sacrifice, a day didn't go by when he didn't miss him but he never spoke about it to anyone, not even his parents even though they could sense he wasn't always quite feeling all right - he simply just concealed his feelings and pretended like everything was fine though he knew it would probably pay back some day.
