How is he related to Balto characters?Well, Hinto is Axton's second best friend, which Axton is related to Steele. Axton is Steele's younger brother^^

History:He joines Axton's team, after his owner brought him to live with them. Hinto was  found out in  the cold, empty streets of Nome, laying there, wounded and bleeding, while trying to defend himself from being attacked by wolves and other street dogs. Axton helped saved his life thus, vows to become his servent and tries to eventually be his best friend even though he tries too hard. Hinto vows to never trust a wolf or wolfdog, because of what happend to him. Time passed, as Hinto's wounds have healed as his owner, decides to train him to become a sled dog on Axton's team. Axton and Hinto become best friends after that one faithful day Hinto found help along with hope. He is greatful to be by Axton's side but will also live to serve him as his best friend.He also found Daisy later down the road and tries to  please and spend more time with her than Axton, which makes Axton feel a bit jealous^
