Persona/Backstory:

Personality: Kass is a very headstrong, brave husky. He’s very responsible and is always focused. He can be a “party pooper” and a “killjoy” when it comes to having fun and doing work, but can have fun sometimes- though rare. He can be all business and no fun most of the time. He can be very kind, but is in many ways not sweet or compassionate. He’s a gentleman and will show respect if he’s given respect.

Likes: Working, training, hauling loads, winning races, Sabina, his teammates and family

Dislikes: Losing races, being insulted, being taken for granted, resting

History: Kass was born first of three to two famous sledding huskies and, from birth, had a reputation to uphold. He began training at an early age and quickly grew muscle and stamina. Unfortunately, he was placed on Kodi’s mail team when he was a year old to be a swing dog. He quickly grew to dislike his job and Kodi’s work ethic. He was then placed on his father’s team as a swing, but couldn’t work under the pressure and didn’t exactly like working with his strict father. Once his father retired, Kass took the place of lead and the original team was replaced with newer, younger dogs whom Kass quickly befriended. They won their first race when Kass was a year and seven months, quickly climbing the charts as one of Alaska’s most famous sled teams. Kass and Steele would often go head to head on and off the harness.

It had been a year later when Kaskae and Steele would compete in a race from Nenana to Nome and back. That season, blizzards and storm took the teams off the trail and forced them to stop every twenty miles. Eventually, Steele had made it to Nenana first, but Kass’s musher was persistient and started back before daybreak. Kass and his team won, causing Steele’s hatred for him to grow.
