Personality: Keira is an independent girl who does exactly what she wants, and when she wants, and she doesn't let anyone tell her what to do. She has a strong will, and quite a temper, and it's not very smart to make her angry because she'll make you deeply regret it. Keira is rather careful about who she lets near her, or who she trusts, and especially if you're a complete stranger, you have to prove yourself to her first, which isn't easy. She is the kind of girl who isn't impressed by a fancy fur or big muscles, to her, it's the personality that matters and tends to look what's inside of you, because she believes that's what counts. Keira loves her family more than anyting in the world, and she'd never let anyone hurt them, she would even be ready to protect them with her life if she has to. So, underneath that somewhat icy cover is truly a sweet and loving girl, even though she doesn't show this side to just anyone.

History: Keira was born in the town of White Mountain, Alaska. Her family moved to Nove when she was in her teens, many males of Nome had their eyes set on her, but she wasn't interested in any of them. Keira's father was a champion sled dog, and her mother worked as a rescue dog. Her father also happened to be a good friend of an sled dog named Steele, who had a rather bad reputation among the other dogs. They decided that Steele's son Demon, and Keira could become mates and carry on their family lines. Keira didn't like Demon at all, in fact she couldn't stand him, he was nearly just as arrogant as Steele and loved picking on the smaller dogs of the town, and not only that, he kept following her everywhere she went and was somewhat obsessed with her. It was almost like she had no life of her own, since her "fiance" snarled at any male who even looked at her. Keira confronted her father and told him she didn't want to be with Demon, he wasn't at all the right guy for her, but her father didn't listen, and only said she'd learn to like him. One day, though, Keira managed to sneak away from him for a while, when suddenly a reddish brown wolfdog, by the name of Kodi, ran towards her, not watching where he was going, and bumped straight into her. Kodi apologized and said he should've watched where he's running, but Keira said it was all right, then. They introduced each other, and something about this shy, polite boy got Keira curious, they talked for a little while, only to be interrupted by an angry Demon, who chased Kodi away. Keira got angry, ran home, and the next day, she met Kodi again, asking him to go for a walk with her. Kodi was rather hesitant about this, but agreed, so they went on and talked for hours. They continued to meet every day, they went for walks and might not be back until nightfall. Keira developed a close friendship with Kodi, he was nothing like other males she'd met, he was kind, sweet and caring and clearly he had a good heart. One night when they came back from their walk, Demon caught them, and attacked Kodi. Fortunately Keira's owner stepped in and separated them, taking Demon back to his owners. Kodi had injured his leg in the fight, badly enough not to be able to walk home, so Keira let him stay in her family's house for the night. In the morning, her father found them sleeping next to each other, he was outraged to see his daughter with a wolfdog, and chased Kodi away, yelling him to never come near his daughter again. Keira went after him, despite her father's protest, only to find him in an alley, badly beaten. She asked him who had done this, and  Kodi told her Demon had surprised him, after which he passed out. Keira lifted him on her back, carried him to the boiler room, and there she nursed him back to health. But that night, something happened between them, they realized they were feeling something stronger towards each other than just friendship. They hid in the boiler room, and next morning, Kodi and his team would race against the pilot to see who delivered the mail faster. Kodi's team won, but then the news reached about the pilot being lost in the forest. When she heard Kodi had gone looking for him, she wanted to go after him but her parents wouldn't let her. She was scared, she'd never been so scared in her life for she feared he might not return and, during his absense Keira realized just how much she cared about Kodi, and that she loved him. When Kodi returned with his father,  the other dogs, and the pilot, Keira couldn't have been more happy and relieved he was all right, she ran up to him, nuzzling him and told him she loved him. Kodi told her he loved her too, and now Keira's parents also gave them their approval, after seeing Kodi was clearly better for Keira than Demon was, he was ready to risk his life to save someone, and that's what impressed them for good. So, Keira and Kodi became mates and not long after this Keira gave birth to five beautiful and healthy pups.
