Personality: Klondike is a hard headed and stubborn trouble maker, who loves coming and going as he pleases and hates being told what to do. He is adventurous and out going, and he's got a bad habbit of getting himself in trouble, from where usually either his father or his older brother has to get him out, and his family often worries for him because of his reckless attitude. Klondike loves running and the outdoors especially in winter time, and he is very athletic which is something he gets from Shasta. Like his mother Ellie, Klondike is more bark than bite, however sometimes when his buttons get pushed, he may actually snap at you and get himself a fight. Still, he is not an arrogant or obnoxious dog, he is just a little out of control and somewhat punkish, more of a young rebel.

History: Klondike was the second youngest pup in Shasta and Ellie's litter, and somewhat the runt. He was a very small and weak pup, whose survival was not too likely, but he managed to pull it off which is why his parents considered him a little miracle. He was much smalle and slower compared to his siblings, but didn't let this stop him, he wanted to be a sled dog like his father. When they were ready to be adopted, Klondike was taken to a loving home by a nice family who had a 10-year old son, who Klondike did love and the two became best of friends, and meanwhile Klondike's brother Kenai stayed with his parent's owners and was trained to be a mail dog in their father's team. Klondike decided he wouldn't let his size stop him, and practiced every day like pulling the boy in a small sled. But no matter how much he trained, the musher of the mail team said he was just simply too small. His words hurt the young pup very deeply, but he still wouldn't give up on his dream and kept practicing and exercing, even while the other pups in town laughed at him and kept telling him he would never make it to the mail team, nor would he never be like Shasta who was now promoted as the lead dog. As they reached adulthood, Klondike who had always been rather close with his brother Kenai and their sisters, now grew distant from his brother who stepped in the place of one of the mail dogs who had to retire. Klondike felt like Kenai had been chosen just because he was the oldest, and felt extremely jealous of his brother, but still kept believing he too would one day be running alongside with his father and brother.
