Bio-
London was near the end of his litter. He was the one pup who was always shy, and extremely cautious. He was just simply afraid of the outside world; it was so big and he was so small. Roosevelt, his biggest sibling would often bully him. London wouldn't speak up because of the golden rule of childhood- everyone hates a tattle-tale and he was afraid he'd be hated by his siblings. Of course, his parents would intervene, but as soon as they turned around Roosevelt would just go straight back to it. Roosevelt's bullying was known and somewhat accepted by the other pups- they didn't like it, but what could they do? He was way bigger then all of them. That fact was met by a dose of tough love when they all ganged up on him, giving the hotheaded pup a dose of his own medicine.
London wasn't thrilled when the day came to be adopted. He didn't want to lose the bond he had with some of his siblings, he wanted all of them to stick together forever, if possible. London was one of the last ones adopted, probably due to his size and nature, by a mean looking man. London quickly learned that his new owner was a bitter musher who hadn't won since Steele's "dream team" was formed. He'd bought several other puppies of different breeds as well- chows, akitas, huskies, and malmamutes, and he would be training them all together. He made a point of training London to the extreme because he'd seen what his father, Balto could do, and what his brother, Kodi was capable of doing.
It was easy to say London's owner was furious when his team, the team he'd invested so much into, lost five races in a row. It was definitely easy to say he blamed the dogs as well. Due to the losses, the musher let his dogs go without food for a week. London could only watch helplessly as his teammates, his friends, weakened even further- the constant training and racing had already made them sore and tired but the starvation pushed them over the edge. London knew it was make it, or break it now so he talked to his team and made them realize that if they wanted to live, they'd have to start winning. And it wasn't that they were terrible- London himself was one of the fastest dogs in Nome, it was just that their musher was having them race way out of their league. With each loss, the punishments became more and more severe. London could only watch as his team, and himself, were beaten, kicked at, and starved. London often got the worst treatment, as he was the lead dog and therefore the one who was decidedly in charge. At the end of these days, the team would often group together, offering murmurs of hope and encouragement.
After countless wins, thier musher was finally pleased. When the team reached home (Nome) he let them off their harnesses for the night, for once. This was a costly mistake, as London and several of his teammates saw this as thier escape. He ran to the shipyard and hid in the boat his father used as a house. His musher never found him, and got a new lead dog. For a long time London laid low, hanging around the shipyard. When his father stopped by the boat one day and discovered him, they were rather shocked at his condition. They brought him back to the rest of the family, and London confessed what had happened in the time he'd been gone. From that point on, Hudson never seperated from London, if it was possible. While this happened, he was all but adopted by a kind old woman who did the filing for the Post Office. She fed, bathed, and housed London there were just no papers to prove he was hers. She even called him Oscar, which he didn't mind, it just took some time to get used to. Sometimes the mailteam would use him if a dog was sick or injured, which London did begrudgingly.
Shortly after this, London was introduced to the sister of his brother's mate. Her name was Vanilla and she was rather bubbly and outgoing. The two quickly began a relationship, and only later on did Vanilla show her true colors.
