Mitzi (Hebrew: Small, bitter)
---
Sex: Male
Orientation: Bisexual
Age: Young adult
Breed: 50% ??? | 50% ???
---
Personality
Likes/loves: His gang, friends, having people around, Aboa
Dislikes/hates: Steele, fighting over something stupid, not feeling well, when his gang turns against him
Good traits: Mitzi is a very compassionate and caring dog to those he's close to. He's often given the nickname "papa" by pups in the town. He's a nice dog to have a conversation with, and he picks up on hints a lot as he is very observative. A kind friend, and a good family member.
Bad traits: Mitzi can have quite the temper when riled up. Though he lacks the verbal way of fighting, he is a decent physical fighter and he has taken on three dogs at once, managing to scare them off. He can be a little too protective of his small family, but at least it's for fair measure.
How they express happiness: Will willingly express this. He smiles and goes on and on talking about said subject in an excited manner.
How they express anger: His fur will raise and he will snarl threateningly, as well as shouting (rather pathetic) insults.
How they express sadness: He would look for someone to talk to about what's saddening him to get it off his chest, then lay by them and thank them for letting him talk.
How they express fear: His eyes will widen and his jaw will drop and he trips over his words, becoming a stuttering mess.

Backstory
Mitzi was born in a back alleyway. His mother took care of him til he was a few months old before she left him, and his father was never around. Despite this, he never hated them. After wandering around searching for food, Mitzi got picked up by a little boy named Sam. Sam's parents let him keep the pup, after not being able to find any trace of owners. Sam was the one who named him. Sam and Mitzi became best friends soon enough. While the two were rambunctious scoundrels, Sam was sure Mitzi had manners in sake of his parents. Mitzi was good with socializing with other dogs, and he even made some close friends. He was just growing into a teenager then, but he was sure to make a friendly and respectful adult.
By the time he became a teenager, Mitzi had quite the bunch of friends. He knew he could count on them, and he made sure they could count on him. Mitzi protected strays from getting hurt, let passerbys stay under his porch for awhile, and saved females from getting harrassed. He gained enough followers to consider himself to be in a gang. After telling all of his friends to join him in an alleyway, he announced the idea. All of them seemed to be in favor, except for one. A black and white Malamute by the name of Steele. Mitzi had protected him when he first moved into Nome from some fierce competitors in the racing business. Though Steele seemed supportive of Mitzi when it was just the two of them, Steele happened to be very jealous of the amount of respect that the young mutt had. While Steele left early, Mitzi was announced as a leader of a gang.
Things seemed to be going well for awhile. Mitzi had treated his gang like a family, and as a father more than a leader. He then found out that Steele was avoiding him. Mitzi didn't think much of it and brushed it off, figuring he was probably busy with his racing career. Aside from that, a new dog moved into Nome. His name was Aboa. Being how he was, Mitzi decided to introduce himself and show the newbie around town. Aboa was very thankful of this and became a good friend to Mitzi over time. As much as he loved his gang, Mitzi always went out of his way to see Aboa, who was thankful and appreciative to be his friend. Aboa had moved from California, so the weather wasn't exactly welcomed, much to Mitzi's amusement. But Aboa had a human who took good care of him at least, so Mitzi didn't worry too much about him.
After a couple years, things started to turn for the worst. Mitzi's owners were moving out of Alaska, and they couldn't bring him with. Sam was devastated to leave his dog behind, but he was older now and he understood. Mitzi had no idea at first and figured Sam was just having a tough time at school or something of the sort. He then made the mistake of staying out for two days. When he returned, the house was empty and Sam and his family were nowhere to be found. For the first time in his life, he felt terrified. He didn't have anywhere to go now. He was a stray. And to make matters worse, with Steele's upcoming fame, the majority of Mitzi's gang had left him to follow him. The Malamute made a point to spit in Mitzi's face every time he saw him. Mitzi never understood, but he reacted appropriately. With no one left to turn to, he went to Aboa. The Huskita was very concerned for him and he brought Mitzi into his house. Since his owner was a kind elderly woman, she fed Mitzi and let him stay there for a bit. It wasn't long til Mitzi found his feet again.
The woman looked around for Mitzi's owners, but she couldn't find them. She turned to some relatives that she had and gave Mitzi to a young, but wealthy man (He lived in Nome as well, since the reason of them moving down to Alaska was because of relatives). Mitzi was sure to get back at Steele somehow and he did his best to protect everybody Steele and his gang picked on, including a wolfdog named Balto..
