Personality:  While he could be interpreted as evil, in truth he only acts out of his insecurities from puppyhood, of which he has many. He has grown to be very clever and calculating as a result of his impulsive and aggressive attitude. He psychopathically always strikes first, and often has to pay for his mistakes-thus has become very clever at getting himself out of trouble. Instead of changing his attitude towards life, he has just become stronger and smarter. He rarely looses a fight, and if he does- you can bet he’s going to be back to deliver the sucker punch. Morally void, he has no problem kicking you when you’re down and stealing from the weak. His ways keep him alive and happy, so there’s no changing them in his opinion. Most of all he wants power, to satisfy his deep paranoia.

Dislikes:  Those who cannot further his rise to power, traitors, those who seek to undermine him, those of higher rank than him.

Fears: Starvation, losing power, his insecurity.

More:  His mother changed  the story about what actually happened to his father every time he asked, so he learned to stop asking. He was raised by his mother, ostracized by his pack because he was a pup that wasn’t born to the alphas, had no father and his mother had strikes against her for trying (and failing) to kill the current alphess.  

Needless to say, he disposed of the current alphas as soon as possible. His pack was in chaos, but it wasn’t good enough to satisfy him. Marching the pack across the tundra during the harshest winter seen in generations- was all part of his plan to eliminate the weak members of his pack, and the elders that picked on him as a pup.  

He also annihilated the alphas of a neighboring pack after the harsh winter migration. He has his eyes on manipulating the weak-minded alpha’s daughter: Sedna into becoming his mate. However, this take-over wasn’t as smooth as the last, because many of the members of this pack began to conspire against Nanu. They realized he was a horrible commander compared to their beloved alphas who Nanu had slain.  After Niju was born to him and Sedna, the pack began to rebel. Nanu squashed the first attempts, but more and more members slowly joined. Nanu was displeased with Sedna’s infertility and failure to produce more well-developed heirs and blamed Niju for his continued loss of power. Nanu trusted no one at this point. He repeatedly accused Niju of conspiring against him. Once, Nanu even admitted to Niju that he might not be the best ruler, but any shifts in power would lead to disaster for the pack. When Niju was about a year old, Nanu was assassinated by a few disgruntled members. 

His legacy is well known, as the son of a spirit not unlike Aniu. There is an evil spirit that is said will whisk away naughty pups and is known for bringing about disasters and destruction, it has different names among different clans, but it is said this conniving evil was inherited by Nanu in it's purest form. Perhaps this evil spirit has heirs that walk the Earth much like Aniu's. These, however, are only whispers...
