Personality:
Ohoura always feels as though the world owes him. So he has always been very stuck up, and felt as though he was the most privileged wolfdog in the world. He always feels in competetion with his older brother Balto, and he gets upset when he loses a fight or an arguement because he thinks so highly os himself. He is very short when answering questions, and he has a very bad temper. When his temper reaches it's boiling point Ohoura becomes very abusive both physically and emotionally, aiming to tear down everyone else so he feels better.
Ohoura is a very stern, cautious male. Of course he has feelings of love, and feelings of protection, but those feelings are often overshadowed by the emoitions of anger, of lust, of his belief everyone has it better than he. He lusts after his brother's wife, and this makes him become very sneaky and sly. He is a terrific liar, always able to come up with some absurd excuse that is only buyable because he can fake tears, shock, and fear so easily from seeing others deal with them.
He has a love/hate relationship with his current mate Della, for he loves her because she is quick and full of wit and cunning, but hates her because not only is she not Jourra, but she is no beauty nor is she obedient and easy to bend to his will. He has lashed out at her many times and both wolves bare many small scrapes and scars for these occurances of hard-headedness.

History :
Ohoura is last-born of the eight pups which are Aniu and Airekane's legacy. While not the runt in size, he is the slowest pup, and this as a very young pup makes him angry at the world. When he and his siblings are out on an exursion on the outskirts of his mothers clan Altacap, a hunter catches sight of puppy Balto and takes aim, but not before Aniu can cover him with her own body. The gun goes off, and in minutes the Great White Wolf is dead. All the pups witness this, and though Balto is perhaps the most horror-stricken, believing it to be his fault, the others are all affected too. Ohoura, however, feels sorrow because he had constantly found some type of fault with his parents, and now it was too late to apologize. When their father dies within a few weeks of their mother Balto takes his siblings away in the middle of the night to keep them all together. Ohoura goes, but his feelings for his oldest brother have greatly changed. His heart is growing cold, and hate begins to replace the love once there.
A few years pass, and Ohoura and Balto fall in love for the same wolf, by name Jourra. The pale gold beauty lives with Balto at first and loves him, but is seduced and manipulated by Ohoura and soon leaves Balto after the eldest wolfdog finds his youngest brother and potential mate laying with each other. Jourra is shamed by this, but Ohoura convinces her that Balto just never saw it as it was. However, a few weeks into her and Ohoura's new relationship she disappears for months without a trace and Ohoura goes nearly out of his mind trying to find her, snaring his leg in a hunter's trap and snapping it in the process. Once his leg heals thanks to his sister Vatani's knowledge of medicines in the wild, he goes out to search again and finally finds her in a cave that reeks of Balto and of a new scent. He peers in and finds his beloved snoozing with a young sun-colored puppy, and as the child stands, stretches and yawns he sees within the pup the body structure of his brother, and as her head swivels towards him the orange orbs of his brother's stare at him.
Realizing the pup must be around three months old, he goes wild at realizing she had been hiding because of a pregnancy and charges in, killing the pup before the young girl can even yip. Her mother raises her head and stills in shock, making Ohoura's job easier as he kills her messily for pleasure. He only realizes what he had done to Jourra once the cave is all but bathed in blood. Backing out, he resolves to hide and not wait for Balto. Balto comes home to the den to find his lover and daughter dead and after sniffing around, knows the guilty culprit. Calling a meeting between all of the Kings of the surrounding lands, he brings his brother before the Court and is fully prepared to kill Ohoura. But Ohoura's true tears and convincing words showed that the evil deed he had done had been an accident, and an action of rage not purposeful murder. Balto's heart softens and he allows Ohoura to live, though he banishes him to the punishment of hunting his own food alone, and orders his youngest guard Della to keep a close eye on the traitor.
Ohoura is at first grateful for his brother's merciful ways but as time goes on, he resents Balto. Having to live with the guilt is far worse than death could have ever been, and he reasons that death would have given him Jourra back. A part of him spoke up within his mind and told him that he had been too controlling and territorial for her to ever love him, and he had woo'ed her by forcing her to admit that Balto was making her wait too long for a proposal of matehood; yet another part of him said that Balto had ripped away the young wolfess from him, just as Balto had taken away Aniu and Airekane and the puphood friends Ohoura had had before Balto had put them all on exile to keep the family together. He struggled with his inner selves, but remained angry at Balto and the world in general, and after near a year of stewing in his own anger and denial that Balto had been right in punishing him, the youngest royal wolfdog makes a move that changes his family's future.
Ohoura leans on Della and gives her a sob story of how he is so horrible, and how he would change, how he could change, if only given the chance, and she falls for his ploy, taking him into her paws and weakening her High King by accidentally showing Ohoura Balto's weakness. The eldest pup of Aniu and Airekane had taken a habit of staying by an old boat at the edge of the town of Nome, and it seemed his eyes had moved to a young red female husky, one Della identified as Jenna. It is nearly an entire year later that the first child falls ill to the diptheria epiddemic, but the news is somewhat not known by Altacap Clan, as the matehood of Ohoura and Della is celebated that same week.
Balto receives a hug from his brother and Ohoura seems happy, and full of nothing but good feelings for the first time in quite some time. After some questions, Ohoura answers that he only needed find the right girl to make him into the wolf his parents always intended him to be, and his supposed change in demeanor from the last few weeks is noted to most likely be because of his relationship. But after a week of celebration and exclusion from the little town Balto considers home, he returns to Nome to find Jenna at the hospital window watching Rosie. Balto returns to Altacap to explain he is leaving, and returning with the anti-toxin as soon as possible. Ohoura, seeing the chance to rid himself of his brother, offers a paw but Balto declines, nudging his sibling and giving a pointed look towards Della, who looked rather livid that Ohoura would even consider leaving her during ther newmoon phase of life. Ohoura sighs and remembers there is a lot more to faking a mateship than simply bedding the female and he gives Balto a coarse lick on the cheek, his eyes misting over in true tears of frustration that he can't secretly kill his brother on this stupid journey. However, Balto believes these tears to be ones of fear in Ohoura's eyes and he wipes them away with his tail, softly telling Ohoura that they will be a family again soon, and how proud Balto is of Ohoura for putting so much effort in becoming a better wolf and putting his past behind him.
After near a day of his brother's absence, Ohoura is solo hunting when he comes upon a bear cub. As meat is very scarce, and he does have a mate to feed, he kills the cub without thinking, and Mama Bear is beyond infuriated when her cub's final screams ring in her ears. Ohoura pleads for his life, and in his panic and twisted fury still aimed at his brother, he tells her that his High King ordered the kill specifically of her cub and he gives directions roughly of the areas that Balto will be passing through. She doesn't think twice, rushing and leaving him with a good slice of meat in the form of her son and a sick grin on his face. Confidant that the bear's maternal rage will take care of his brother without any more problems, Ohoura picks up the bearskin to take back to his bride when a black wolf rushes past him and pins down a small thing behind a rock.
Ohoura pauses, true shock racing through his veins as he sees one of the only black wolves in existance staring up at him, her bright blue eyes glistening. Recognizing the wolfess to be the wolfess of pup's nightmares, he bends his head down to his aunt Vanyoki and she snarls at him, spit flying. She berates him for being so weak as to bow to her, and she grasps whatever is between her paws and slugs in up into thee air and back into the ground in one fluid motion, her eyes sharp. Placing one paw harshly on the wolf now motionless in the snow, she chortles and asks snidely if Ohoura knows this wolfess, but Ohoura has gone mute from both anger and fear. It is Minnie, his sister. As Ohoura realizes she must have been listening to him speak to the bear he snarls and lowers himself into the killing position, but finds he cannot do it. For he does not hate her, only their mutual brother.
Raising his head up, he is snapped at for being another 'weak, vunerable male -just like your father' and at this insult he launches himself at Vanyoki, his mind a ball of misplaced agression. He throws her into a snowbank nearby and as she gets up he growls and positions himself over his littermate. Declaring himself strong, he tells her to mind her own business, but her response is simply that "I have beenwatching you since your banishment. Everything capable of destroying Altacap is my business, boy. And this? This is definetely my business."
That's when it hits him. Minnie will tell every word of what has happened to his brother's clan. Altacap can no longer be called Ohoura's home, for it's allegiance is to the wrong wolf, or so he believes. Ohoura snarls at the awakening Minnie but she only whimpers and cowers under him. She had always been the meek quiet one. He hesitates, weighing his options and realizing tht she would have to be killed, but he also knew that Balto could not come home to a dead sister and not suspect something; that is, if Balto came home at all. At this rate, he wouldn't be surprised. He looks to Vanyoki and she grins, her smile as twisted as his when he thinks of killing Balto. She saunters over to him, traces Minnie's jawline with a black toe and her voice lowers. Into the wolf's ear she whispers to him a plan of attack, of war, where she could arrange Minnie's death without blame to him. He nods and agrees to what she lays out and then turns his head away as she grabs a rock and he holds his terrified sister's head still as their aunt gashes her head hard with a rock. He returns home with fear-scent in his pelt, gasping at how he thought he spotted a caribou on hunt but it was his sister behind some sticks and he didn't mean to. His lie is bought hook, line, and sinker, and she is moved to a Healer's Den for the time being.
Ohoura, feeling slight traces of guilt, volunteers to stay guard and stay watch while the Healer goes out to collect plants and the guards acompany the male Healer, to keep the Healer safe. Each comment amongst themselves at how much the light brown wolf has changed since his mateship to Della and are pleasantly surprised, and glad to see him acting as a brethren to a clan should. They leave, and the Clan is unprotected except for the guards in training. All part of the plan, Ohoura watches as Vanyoki appears from the shadows and attacks one of the young guards and he watches the male fall, unmoved and trying to learn how to remain cold in the midst of battle. Her and her followers from before Balto and his littermates were born began swarming the camp, and soon there was Altacap blood on most every spot. Four of her followers caused a rockslide which caved in the den where Minnie was housed, and traumatized screams of young mother wolves split the silence of the dead as the rocks also caved in the nursery not far away. Ohoura gasped and flinched, his intentions never being the innocent children. Delta rushed to him and he shook his head, crying and acting as though he could not bear to leave the site where he knew his sister lie dead. As guards raced into the camp, likely having herd the screaming, Ohourra watched his aunt tear some of them apart and grinned in satisfaction. Less older guards would make taking over the clan after Balto's death easier.
However, he and Vanyoki knew this skirmish could not last long, and as swiftly as the shadow-wolves came, they left, though they could no longer be hidden for the amount of blood on each pelt was horrifying. Ohoura played his part well, acting aghast alongside his remaining brothers and sisters at the murder scenes before them. Ohoura cleared his thoat and spoke only a few words of comfort, and then pushed for everything to get cleaned up, but try as he might to get them moving, all were hurting far too much. Rousen went to lie down and he did keep a cautious eye on her, she was expecting a town dog's pups and he didn't want those bastard things to be born here. A few days passed and Balto returned, causing Ohoura to loudly curse. Though, that went unnoticed because with all the death around them most of the clan were spilling profanity after profanity.
Balto swore vengence on the wolves who had killed Minnie, and all the wolves grieved for her and the many others who had been killed. Ohoura's sadness was made better by Della, who stuck by his side at this time where his moods began to once again take a turn for the worse, as he felt too much blood had been spilled but he also knew that his takeover could not happen with those loyal to his brother. Three weeks passed and then one day while still saving face and retaining his shocked, innocent act he was approached by a livid Balto, who brought him and Della into his private den and within the den lay a deceased black wolf, who was slowly washing of the ebony color and returning to a deep crimson shade as Aniu's Law had dictated upon death of a evil wolf, if said wolf had either come clean of his crimes or was innocent and only tainted by his parent's raisings and beliefs.
Ohoura's heart -or what was left of it- dropped. He began to shake and he felt Balto's anger building. As his eldest brother began to shout, Ohoura found that he could not deny any of it. Yes, he had attacked Minnie. Yes, he had sent that bear after Balto. Yes, he had plotted with Aunt Vanyoki to slaughter as many of Altacap as he could. Yes, he had purposely stayed by the Healer's Den to insure that Minnie would perish in whatever way needed to keep his secret hate a secret. Yes, he wanted Balto dead. As he answered the final question he could feel, sense, smell, and hear the hurt in the air. Most of the higher status wolves were lazing around the opening of the cave listening in. He whirled around to face them and began to laugh, desperation causing his eyes to see shapes that did not exist and seeing yellow eyed wolves jumping for him. He giggled and flopped onto his belly laughing at how stupid his clan had been, for they had believed all his tricks until one dying black wolf had spilled it all.
He stood then, spat in Balto's face, and then sneered at his eldest brother. "Whaddya gawna do, kill me? Puh, you're too weak!!"
His insult brought Balto's hackles up but the older brother sighed and shook his head. Ohoura saw it, he knew what was coming. And as his brother sentanced him to the Land of the Shadows, to the land where Vanyoki resided, Ohoura felt nothing but glee. He would go there, and Vanyoki and he would plan how to end Altacap Clan once and for all. He dragged Della there, his anger causing her stubbornness to subside and meekly follow. There he remained for a number of years as his dughter was born, whom he pretended did not exist. When she grew old enough for pup-bearing, he made sure to arrange a worthy mate for her in the form of a big brute called delKaiptat. Surely one whose name meant "Decapitate" would mix well with his daughter, Jesshuwai, whose name translated as "Just You Wait". Ohoura was right, and the son they had suited him perfectly. He named his grandson Heirshal for he would one day undoubtedly "Hurt All" and he began to train the child, raising it to be as much a silent demon as it's Great-Great-Aunt Vanyoki was. Vanyoki's age was great by this time, and after over a year of training, she left to put her and Ohoura's plan in motion. She would die from injuries later inflicted by Balto and Aleu, but Ohoura cared not.
His greatest hurt would be this prized grandson dying in battle the same day that Vanyoki attacked, and the next year would consist of the remainder of his Clan of Shadows being slaughtered and when he was the only one left, he would die believing that Balto had wronged him all his life and that the one guilty of everything was his brother instead of him.
