Personality: Olathe is very sweet and good-natured. She is rather gentle, but isn’t afraid to fight if needed, and also knows how to stand up for what she believes in. She is a good leader and is very independent, and has a talent for quickly adapting to pretty much any situation. Olathe has an optimistic view on life and believes there is good in every situation and every person, no matter how bleak things seem. She is also a strong believer in second chances, and believes everything happens for a reason.

History: Olathe was born to two wolves in the Alaskan wilderness, near the Nome area. As she grew up, she set off to find her own place in the world, but remained a lone wolf for a while. She liked the sense of independence it gave her, and was good at adapting to living by herself, but also wished to have a companion with her. Eventually, she met a wolf named Niju who was a bit older than her, and he seemed to be in terrible condition. He was starving so much that Olathe could see his rib cage, and he seemed very depressed. She found out Niju’s pack had left their original territory to find new food, and he didn’t go with them, and was now seriously regretting his decision. To make matters worse, Nava, the elderly wolf he had spent his lonely days with, had recently passed due to old age, so now Niju was all alone. Olathe figured the least she could do was allow him to accompany her on her journeys; also, she was a fairly good hunter, and would be able to provide for him. Eventually, thanks to Olathe’s help, Niju grew healthy again, and more importantly, happy. She and Niju fell in love and eventually became mates, having a litter of cubs. Life remained pretty normal for Olathe and Niju; their pups all grew up and started their own lives. However, tragedy struck the family when one of their son Kanu and his mate were killed by a hunter. Olathe was devastated to lose her son, and felt she would never recover from this terrible loss. However, she found eventually happiness again in Kanu’s young son Gareth, who she and Niju took in after his parents died.
