Personality: He is inexorable, dogmatic, and petulant. He looks strong and composed but inside he is nervous and dubious, and is apprehensive about his position in the pack. Though he makes the pack's decisions, he doubts himself as being a good leader; he does not show this side of his personality. When it comes to anger, he is unpredictable; if someone angers him, there's no telling how angry he'll get. Therefore, it is very wise to stay on his good side, as some pack members have learned the hard way.

History: He was born to two alphas of the Oude pack. Every member's name consists of the pack name followed by the individual's name. From the moment he was born, his parents could tell he was destined to be a leader. He was the largest of his siblings, and also was the roughest in play. Months passed, and Oude Heeren was already proving himself as future leader. He was stronger than his siblings, who all looked up to him, except for one of his brothers, who was jealous that Heeren was better than him at everything. As they grew older, there were a few wars with rival packs, and he, his parents, and his siblings fought in them. The parents were killed in the second war, and two brothers and a sister were also lost in another couple wars. They fought as best as they could, but the other wolves simply overpowered them. Heeren and his surviving siblings retreated when hope ran out and the fight was over, returning with the surviving pack members to their territory. Since Heeren's parents were the pack's leaders, and that his remaining siblings simply weren't alpha material, he stepped up as leader in his parents' honor. He was reluctant at first, but that feeling faded quickly. Now the pack looked to him to make decisions and other important matters of pack business. When his parents were leading, they were somewhat lax with the pack rules. Now that Heeren was in charge, things were going to be a lot more stringent. After his new rules were in place, he was not the most well-liked member of the pack, but having him as leader was better then having no leaders. But they looked up to him regardless. Except for his brother Morag. He kept trying to attack and overthrow Oude Heeren any chance he got. Heeren gave him warnings several times, but the day Oude Morag tried to attack him was his last day in the pack. Oude Heeren banished Oude Morag from the pack, and sent him away never to return, threatening to kill him next time he showed up in their territory. Then, he was just Morag, no longer an Oude pack member. Oude pack life continued as normal, and Morag never showed again. During one of the pack migrations, the route of which ran past Nome, Oude Heeren saw a dog in the streets of town, just out for a walk. Heeren was transfixed by her. He stared at her for a few minutes, then gathered himself and continued the migration. On the return migration months later, he saw her again, this time at night. While his pack was sleeping, he went into town to try and talk to this dog. The dog was frightened at first when she saw him coming, then she relaxed when she realized that this wolf meant no harm or ill will. Heeren watched her for a little, nervous, then tried to talk to her. After they introduced themselves, they said goodbye to each other and Heeren went back to his pack. He got little sleep that night, as he could not stop thinking of this dog he had met. Months passed, and they met several times, always whenever Heeren could safely leave his pack. Heeren soon developed feelings for her. Some of the pack members became aware of their relationship, and few were against it, knowing it was against pack rules. But they did not question their leader Heeren about it. One night, when Heeren went to go see the dog again, one of the wolves followed him; they had been pretending to be asleep. The member: former Oude Morag. When Morag tried to corner and attack the dog (AmyLeen), Heeren fought Morag and won, and warned him, so Morag walked away. AmyLeen was shaken by the sudden attack, but the strong Heeren calmed her down. A while later, when she was calmed down enough to talk, Heeren could take his feelings for her no longer, and confessed his feelings for her. AmyLeen told the same, and when Heeren asked if AmyLeen would be his mate, she said yes, happily agreeing. The two love each other more than anything, but Heeren loves her more. Amy stays in Nome, and Oude Heeren stays with his pack, but they see each other whenever they can, and their love is very real. There is no denying so. AmyLeen is now part of the pack, though she stays in Nome. She is now Oude AmyLeen, which the pack's other members call her, though Heeren is the only one that can call her Amy or AmyLeen.
