Personality: Qiviut is like a big puppy. He loves to play and find an adventure in everything. Sometimes, he doesn’t know when to be serious, and often goofs off during hunts, much to his parents’ chagrin. However, he is overall pretty responsible and does work hard, and is particularly good at guarding and defending the pack. When his best friend gets killed by Kalik, he becomes more serious, but over time he gets back to his funny and playful self. However, he is prone to fits of depression where he stops acing like himself.

Likes: Playing, running, swimming, stargazing, fresh meat, telling/hearing jokes, stories

Dislikes: Kalik, fighting (though he does it when needed), stuffy people, bears, conflict

History: Qiviut was the third child of Aleu and Yakone. Growing up, he was a very silly pup who didn’t like to take things seriously. Like his mother was when she was young, he was full of energy and loved adventure. He grew more responsible when he got older, but still retained his pup-like personality. He soon became one of the packs guardians once his older brother Hotah was appointed as clan leader, as Qiviut was good at keeping watch and defending the pack.

    His world turned upside down when Kallik, the violent leader of another pack, waged war on Hotah’s pack because a former member of the pack named Niju had killed his parents long ago and he wanted revenge. In a fit of rage, Kallik killed Qiviut’s best friend, Inuk. Qiviut was devastated, and stopped acting like his fun-loving self, becoming very withdrawn instead. However, sometime during the war, Inuk’s sister Kima got badly injured, and Qiviut decided to nurse her back to health. During Kima’s healing period, she and Qiviut fell in love, and Qiviut found that he was slowly but surely returning to his old self.
