Likes: hunting

River was born to a lovely female dog, her mother was a black and white dog with ticking, and her father was a liver and white male. She was born near Nome but would not go there till she was 10 weeks old.  Her first 10 weeks where full of puppy stuff. She was even shown how to hunt rats.

When she was taken to Nome, she lived with an older man who continued her training as a ratter, when she first arrived at her home she was inside all day but when her owner felt she would return he allowed the small dog to come and go as she wanted, she never went far as it was too cold for her. She had a fluffy coat compared to her breed but it didn’t do too much for her.

She met Jenna when her master took her to Rosie’s place to hunt a rat that they had seen running under the floorboards, River could not understand why this female dog did not just kill the rat, river did her job  and the rat was removed.

It wasn’t long till she found out Jenna had puppies and river went to visit the pups but saw a male dog (Balto) and a goose there so returned to her place.
