Personality: She’s very shy, but very loving. If you’re gentle, she’ll open right up to you. But she’s very skittish. She’s always been that way since birth. And once she has your attention, she wants it to stay on her, or she’ll whine at you.

Bio: Kodi had always secretly had a crush on Dusty ever since the events of Balto III, but never knew how to say it. One day, he found out that his fellow sled team member, Ralph, was sick with a crippling disease and had to retire from the sled team. This hurt Dusty, but she always found comfort in Kodi.

Soon, Ralph passed away, and everyone was heartbroken, including Kodi, and especially Dusty. Kodi promised to take care of Dusty after that. They went on more delivery missions together, growing closer every day. Dusty soon found herself falling for Kodi, filling the hole in her heart that Ralph left.

They eventually confessed to each other their love, and after a while, the pups came.

Sandstorm was never abused, but she still seemed to shy away from everyone, and it was soon discovered that she was the runt of the litter, and almost didn’t make it. But she did grow up with a bad hip, which would occasionally make her act very fragile.

The humans of the sled team took care of the pups very well, and slowly taught them how to be good sled dogs. Sandstorm wasn’t fit for the team because of her hip, but she still cheered on her siblings to be good sled dogs for her.
