This thought came to me recently. And I'm interested.
The action takes place at a time when the wolf Nava escapes, then the spirit of a crow appears.

Remember that Nava ran to the left of the rock, and Balto went from the rock to side of the ocean.
Note, the spirit of the crow flies to Balto from exactly the same trail, where Nava had fled (Nava ran to the left of the rock, from there the spirit of the crow flew). In addition, Nava quickly disappeared (The wolf weak, old and wounded, it could not run so fast).

Don't you think it strange?
After that, I began to think that the old wolf is a spirit too. That is, we have a full set of ghosts from totem. Nava plays the role of the teacher (as from totem). For this reason, I began to think that it really is a ghost, take the shape of different animals of the totem, including a distorted shape of the desired mother.
However, this theory (that the old the leader is a ghost too) belies the fact that a little earlier, we see a crow and old wolf together in the same scene.

But still strange.
What do you think about this?

What JC said, it was just strange. I love fiction, fantasy, adventure.
However, I prefer something where I can believe in something beautiful
and unsurpassed, something unearthly and beyond. |

Logical and fiction isn't apart of your vocabulary, is it? By the way, JC is quite smart and logical. |

That's illogical. Like you. Even in a world with talking animals
should be at some kind of reality. |

I think I'll try Aoba's approach: Can you please make an article on how much Balto is like Spongebob Squarepants? I'd really like to see that. Yeah. Seems logical. |

What? Whatever from a cartoon, here must be logic and balance. I say about it. |

Trying to find logic in three animated movies with talking animals
(who have very human flaws and quirks) and Native Alaskan-inspired
mysticism is about as silly as it gets. And aesthetics? Are you
for real?You "explain much better 'in words', huh? In which particular language? Because those words are certainly not English ones. And the result is indeed chaotic, but not for the same reasons you think. |
| February 01, 2015 | ||
I stick to logic and aesthetics. I do not care that it's "just a
cartoon." Everything turns chaotic because I explain much better "in
words". |

It's simple: 1. Nava is a wolf, not a spirit. He apparently, within the confines of this story, has the ability to appear as though he is one with other objects. And, because of his age and wisdom, somehow has some sort of communicative ability with other animals beyond just speaking to them. Given that this film presumes that the wolves have a spiritualism similar to the Native Alaskans, it is likely that they mean that Nava has a deeper connection to the world around him...especially given his age and, as I said, his wisdom. 2. Every "animal" which appears, and then disappears...the raven, the fox, the wolverines, the bear and the mouse, are manifestations of Aniu (who is a spirit herself) in other forms. Or are spirits working with her. NOTHING MORE. And NOTHING LESS. Again, stop over-analyzing. Your articles may reflect your own opinions and views, but they are clearly not getting the kind of feedback or discussion you must have been anticipating. Your reasoning in these things is way off in left field, your descriptions are confusing and often rambling, and, once again, YOUR use of English is seriously flawed (and not anything resulting from how you post it on this site, or that the site is allegedly "doing" to your material, which you've claimed before). I don't care what you may think of your skill with the language. As a native speaker of English, I am telling you that you need more practice with it, and probably some external assistance. |

In what sense? I say that Nava is a wolf. When I written an article, I
wrote that it is not a spirit. I just thought that you did not see it. |

Then what are you trying to explain here? Because from I gather,
you're trying to say Nava isn't a physical wolf, but a spirit. |
| February 01, 2015 | ||
I disproved the fact that Nava is spirit: "However, this theory (that the old the leader is a ghost too) belies the fact that a little earlier, we see a crow and old wolf together in the same scene." I wrote it. |

I think Nava leaving into the place Aniu appeared from is just a
coincidence. Is Nava a spirit? Not necessarily. Like Aleu, he has the special ability to become one with the trees. And considering he was the leader of a pack, and that he mentioned that was weak, is evidence enough to prove that Nava isn't a "spirit". |
