Personality: Serene is happy-go-lucky, kind, and friendly to all- though she does have a reputation of being extremely competitive to the point of antagonistic when involved in activities such as racing or free sledding. Although she is in love with racing, she can be almost overwhelmingly lazy when she feels like it and is more carefree and light hearted about racing, unlike Kodi and Stallion, who are much more serious about it.

Likes: Serene loves eating snow and laying out in the sun.
Dislikes: Serene is a bit flighty and is intimidated by dogs larger and meaner than her.

Serene was born to Steele, who was bred with a mother Serene never knew, since she was sent of to breed with other high pedigree dogs. Serene's siblings were adopted, since Steele's owner did not want them once Serene's mother was put down. Steele tried to raise Serene on his own after escaping from his new life as a breeding dog. Serene remains very loyal to him because of his determination.
Serene grew up to be a spitting image of her mother. It took some time, but after finding her way into a sled team specialising in unofficial dog racing, she soon became renowned in the cult racing league, along with her partner, Stallion.
Serene first met Kodi was on the way to her eighth race with Stallion and a couple other friends. She saw Kodi and his team coming home from a mail run and was nearly hit. She readily forgived Kodi, as being so joyful and forgiving is a part of who she is, while Kodi was still a stranger. After her race she found him on the streets again. They introduced themselves and hit it off easily by ditching her races and being seen wandering around town late at night, arousing some suspicious feelings from Serene's longtime racing partner, Stallion, who had recently been in a racing accident that Serene had not been a part of.
Serene quickly fell for Kodi once she realized his devotion to his job. If anything, though, Serene fell for Kodi's passion. She wanted to confess her feelings for him after his race with the plane, but after finding out how he was so uncaring towards Duke's crash and how infatuated he seemed with his job, she began to doubt Kodi's willingness to be involved with anything other than the mail. She confided in Stallion, whose only words of comfort were to calm down and see where her relationship with Kodi goes.
Serene is still smitten by Kodi.
