Personality: Shasta is a very kind and friendly guy who tends to get along with everyone and doesn't like arguing or fighting with anyone. He's sweet and caring, he always puts his loved ones before himself and wouldn't hurt a fly. Shasta is an athletic boy who loves spending time outdoors, and one of his absolute favorite things to do is running, he loves the feeling of freedom he gets from it and it always makes him feel good. He is basically one of the nicest dogs you'd come across, he accepts you for just who you are and gives everyone a chance.

History: Shasta was born to a local husky breeder in Nome, along with 5 other siblings. His parents were both quality champions, his father was a famous sled dog and his mother had won several rewards in dog shows. Despite his fine family lines Shasta was always a very humble and modest pup who didn't like to go pragging around the town how his father was a champion lead dog and his mother was a famous show dog, he liked to play with other pups and got along with everyone. When they reached the age of 8 weeks, he was adopted by a family with a young boy. Until he was a full grown adult, he had never even thought of becoming a sled dog, but then he was sold to a musher and started training. But since he had always loved running and being outdoors, Shasta soon developed a taste for sledding and started enjoying it more and more every day. He kept waiting for an opportunity to be in a sled team, and befriended the town's mail team, including the famous wolf dog Balto's son, Kodi and became friends with him. Unfortunately, not much later one of the dogs from the mail team had a bad leg injury and he had to retire, when Shasta was chosen to replace him. Shasta was happier than ever, and proud to finally be in a team along with his friends. For quite a time running the mail was the biggest passion in Shasta's life, he loved it more than anything else... until he met a beautiful female husky called Ellie. He fell in love with her at the first sight, and started spending time with her, sometimes forgetting about meeting with his team mates and this made them feel rather annoyed and frustrated. They talked things through with Shasta, and understood he was in love but he still apologized for neglecting his friends.
