Personality: Shila is a big sweetheart and has a very fanciful imagination. She likes to think she has her whole life planned out, and sometimes acts desperately to make sure things go according to plan. She gets thrown off when certain things don’t go her way. She can be a bit gullible and is sometimes outwardly defiant. However, she is very loving and would do anything to help a friend. She is also very adventurous and enjoys having fun.

History: Shila was the fourth pup to be born in Aleu and Yakone’s litter. She was named after Yakone’s late mother, and for her bright red fur (Shila means “flame” in Inuit). Growing up, she had quite a big and fanciful imagination, which she kept going into adulthood. She was a beautiful and kind young wolfdog who was sought after by various boys, but one wolf in particular named Hinto was head-over-paws in love with her. However, the feelings weren’t mutual. Shila loved Hinto as a friend, but felt he wasn’t very confident and couldn’t really protect her, or even defend himself for that matter.

    Shila’s life was turned upside down when war broke out between her brother Hotah’s pack and a pack led by a vicious wolf named Kalik. However, she found solace in a wolf from the rival pack named Koyuk. Koyuk, unlike the other wolves in his pack, was very kind and charming, and treated Shila like a princess. Shila’s family was very much against her dating Koyuk as he was from the rival pack, but Shila didn’t listen. He wasn’t like the others. One night, Koyuk asked Shilla to talk a walk with him, but Koyuk did something unexpected: he turned on Shilla and kidnapped her. That was when Shila realized Koyuk had been using her all along to help his pack win the war. Shila felt betrayed, and was terrified for her own life. She was brought into a cave guarded by snarling wolves, and figured she would have to accept her fate. But when all things seemed hopeless, another wolf swept in and saved Shila. It was Hinto! He fought off all the wolves, and he and Shila quickly ran off to safety. Hinto had saved her life, and Shila knew she had to repay him somehow. So, she decided to finally give Hinto a chance, and found that the wolf she was meant to be with had been standing by her side all along.
