Personality: Laid-back and even-headed, Shiloh is just looking to have a good time. He can be lazy and a bit of a slacker, and doesn’t always take things too seriously. He’s very witty and enjoys cracking jokes. He enjoys causing mischief but isn’t mean spirited; he just wants to have a good story to tell. Shiloh is very passive, and doesn’t really stand up for himself or others unless needed. Instead, he just rolls his eyes and makes snide comments behind peoples’ backs.

History: Shiloh was born to Nikki and Phoebe (the gray dog seen swooning over Steele in the beginning of Balto 1). From a young age, he was trained to be a sled dog like his father. Shiloh liked dogsledding, but he wasn’t particularly passionate about it like his father was. He landed a job as a wheel dog on Nome’s mail team. He didn’t take the job super seriously; it was just a way for him to pass time and keep fit. He liked all his teammates except Kodi, who he found to be insufferable because of how overly seriously he took the job. He thought Kodi was a stick-in-the-mud (and felt he only got worse once he became lead dog) and thus didn’t hang out in Kodi’s friend group. He preferred to hang with Kodi’s more laid-back brother Yukon; Shiloh, Yukon, plus Kaltag’s son Cooper and Star’s son Cosmo loved to run around Nome causing mischief. When at work, Shiloh would just hang out with Larsen, the quiet malamute who served as the other wheel dog. Eventually, Shiloh and Larsen were both shipped off to Nenana to be wheel dogs on a medicine-carrying team, opening up two spots on Nome’s mail team which were filled by Kodi’s sister and Steele’s son.
