History: Sleath was born in Nava's pack (now Aleu's) and was known to be almost as wise as Nava himself. When Aleu came to the pack, Sleath became one of her closest friends.

 

When she heard that her brother, Hanler had been killed, Sleath went into deep mourning, and was sadder still when Aleu announced that she had to leave the pack to see her family on urgent matters. 

 

Sleath was reluctant to let her friend go after just losing her brother, but she was determined not to be unfaithful to her leader; so she helped to reassure the other pack members, who were equally unwilling to allow their leader to part with them. Sleath's loyalty pleased Alue, who appointed her temporary alpha for the while she was away. Sleath accepted. At first Sleath found the responsibility hard, but she finally got the hang of it.

 

When Aleu returned back, she brought with her a strange dog from Koyuk. His name was Vallcon, a part-wolf. He and Sleath quickly took a liking to each other and after years of friendship, they were allowed to leave the pack and raise one of their own.
