Personality: Tanner tends to be a loner but not because he's a weirdo, because he likes it. He mostly fun and gentle all the time but when he isn't in mood he can be quite scary.

History: Fabio was born with his siblings in a small farm located in Nome. He spent his childhood with a middle aged woman, his life wasn't as great as he expected. The woman rarely care for him and always hit him when she's upset. No matter how hard his life was, little Tanner never thought to run away. At age nine months his master kick him out because he accidentally broke his master's favourite vase, Tanner cried a bit but then decided to move on.

Some years later he met a dog called Fabio in boiler room. They chatted a bit and soon they became friends. Tanner realise he had a feeling for Fabio but he think it's ridiculous so he just kept it for himself untill one night Fabio told him about how he feels towards him. Tanner was surprised, now he knew that they're meant to be together. He told Fabio that he loved him too, and that night became a night that really important in his life.

But Unfortunately Fabio was about to given away to someone else far from Nome, Tanner was really sad and was hopeless. Fabio didn't gave up. He made a plan to run away, Tanner likes this simple plan. The next day they are already far enough from Nome. Of course they lived as stray dogs but not forever because a young woman found them in starving and tired condition, because she felt pity for them she takes them as her own.

Other: Tanner often looks sad most of the time even if he isn't sad at all. And his new master is actually the person that was supposed to be Fabio's new master.

Relation to Balto: He is Fabio's mate, Fabio is Ralph's and Dusty's grandson and great grandson of Steele.
