I haven't done much in the community yet, but I plan to in the near future. I was actually rather surprised when I found this site, but I'm glad that I did. I guess I didn't realize so many other people like the movie(s) as much as I do. I'm not really sure what I'll be able to contribute to this site, but more than likely I'll upload some fanfics (may take a while - I have a lot of ideas, but nothing that I've actually started) and participate in some forum discussions. I've never really thought of myself as a good artist or writer, but then again, I've never really tried outside of school before. Wow, it's so strange coming back here after nearly 3 years. It doesn't
seem like that much, but things are so different now in my life. Back
then I was so genuinly happy and hopeful, now I'm just lonely and
jaded - I blame two years on reddit for the former, but it's my own
fault that I never do anything anymore. I'm not sure why I even came back here, but it didn't feel right to leave again without posting one last time. Thanks to all you guys who were around back then (specifically jersycaptain and mightybalto), you have no idea how much this site meant to me at the time, even if I didn't stay long. |

That's usually how it tends to go, David.  Sooner or later, some
kids just take to the music their parents like...especially if it was
catchy, cool or just plain freakin' awesome in some way. With MY
parents, it was the music of the mid to late 50s and early 60s. XD
Not quite as good as the classic rock of the late 60s through the end
of the 80s, but there is some great material from that era too. |

JC, believe me, I wish I could have been around when all that great
music was coming out, but I was only born in 1995. I have my dad to
thank for my taste in music  |

Very good tastes in music, David. But are you of my generation, which
would have heard all of that in its initial run (the exception being
Weezer, which I don't care for and which came much later)? Or are you
just a younger dude with really great tastes in music? |
