History: Vallcon was born in Koyuk at a dog breeding centre, founded by Mr Sulski, which specialized in the breeding of wolf-dog hybrids following the fame of Balto. Instead of selling them, Sulski decided to keep Vallcon and his brother and sister as his own and train them, all three to become sled-dogs.

But during his growth, Vallcon was worried of being ill treated, because of his wolf blood. With these fears, Vallcon neglected his training work. His mother, knowing his uncertainty, comforted him, and told him that ''because of Balto, everyone has accepted wolfdogs''. Contented with this, Vallcon went on with his training and soon after he became one and a half years old, was made a qualified sled-dog.

Throughout this time, Vallcon was accquainted to the town's Head-dog, Ragnal and his young daughter, Mississippi (Missy). Ragnal's family became like Vallcon's own.
