I revised it and just got to the point, I apologize for any prior confusion.
In your fanimage gallery, there should be at least 1 graphic. (example shown below) If you are planning to make an image gallery soon, then your first image must be the graphic.
Blank renders are still allowed. Renders are still allowed. Just remember that 20% of your gallery should be images/graphics of official site characters.
Also, if you send in a blank render/lineart a character icon should not be included.
Along with renders, wolf makers, horse makers, Dolldivine ect... are no longer allowed in any source. Studying the image rules it states "Pictures drawn by other artists aren't allowed." So we won't accept them anymore. This also applies to the character full body image, it cannot be made on dolldivine or any other wolf/horse/lion ect maker.
Starting in a week, moderators will start deactivating galleries that do not have at least 1 graphic within the gallery.

Mini modding: The mods have agreed we have seen an increase in mini modding going on in alot of the sources. Please, if a moderator is handling the problem, allow them to. If a moderator is not around, report the problem, don't try to take it on yourself. Also, please, when reporting something add the comment "reported" so other know that it has already been reported. Along the same line, don't just bash the member. Actually give them real critique so they can use it in the future. Only pointing out the problem won't help them get better.

I think the real message the mods are trying their best to express is
to encourage members to vary their image galleries with a good balance
of graphics and renders/balto related images and fan character images,
and also to encourage members to make their own renders or draw their
characters, by banning wolf/lion/whatever makers. And, these
particular areas of the fansite/bad habits are which a lot of people
complain about. |

This 'new' rule hasn't been officially approved of Steet, the only
real new rule is the fact that there must be at least one graphic in
your image gallery and wolfmakers (or any animal) are not allowed. The character rules we made a news topic about a few months ago was indeed approved. Any confusion about this I apologize, I have simplified them the best I can. |

Very well said, UK. One of the first really thoughtful, intelligent
and logical postings concerning this issue to date. All the bickering, the petty little allegiances, the maneuvering, and all that other nonsense really drags this place down into the proverbial gutter. And while it may be frustrating for all of us to have to wait on steet to attend to e-mails, PMs and site issues whenever it happens to suit him personally, or when he encounters some free time in his schedule, it certainly ISN'T hard to blame him for his apathy about dealing with the English side. I don't know whether or not anyone needs to ask him what HE wants for this site, however. That should be relatively evident in the basic structure of how the site was put together in the first place, and whatever LEGITIMATE rules exist so far on "the books". I did type out a pretty extensive and thorough posting in the Suggestions Board, on the forum, to try and address a large number of current issues on this side... ...Whether or not he's actually read it is questionable. But I sure wish he would. And I wish he'd then ADDRESS it. |

xD If I were him, I wouldn't want to be around much either. The rules themselves are actually REALLY simple, they've never caused a problem on the French side where they're the same - the only difference is the French mods haven't expanded on them by tons. A lot of the English rules honestly don't even need to be there, much like this new one seeing as it's technically already covered in the existing rules (providing I've been able to decipher it properly). When you sit back and look at the crap he has to deal with from the English side it's no wonder he's fed up of it. I don't want to upset anyone but the modding of the English side is a joke. There's so much in the way of arguing amongst others over silly power-trips any actual modding is drowned by it. Not to mention people throwing hissyfits over every decision ever made, even those made by Steet himself, because they don't suit a handful of people in particular so they've just GOT to be wrong. I'm not sure when was the last time anyone actually asked Steet what he wants for his site. A lot of people seem to have forgotten he actually owns it and is still the webmaster of the site, they're so busy critisizing every little thing he does or does not do. |

So, to get a better understanding of the new rules we can use
screenshots to render our own characters as long as we make graphics
based around balto? Which makes sense considering this is a balto
fansite it's not just about the fan characters.  |

The same rules Steet made himself, but, evidently didn't do much
thinking on. A lot of them are poorly created and another lot have
been broken many times by people who simply do not understand what
they're trying to say. It's hard to get his permission on anything for
AS since he's barely around. And even when he is, he doesn't want to
be bothered. |

moderator on this site) has plainly alluded to? Or a variety of rules
a set of moderators agreed on and announced without first firmly
securing steet's okay to post and enforce them? Just sayin'... |
