Our own Skulblaka_Shur'tugal is working on a video, and he needs your help. Some of you may be familiar with the YouTube series "Everything Wrong With...." by CinemaSins. In case you're not, here's a sample video:
Skul has been working on parodies of this series for a long time as part of his Pokemon channel, and now he wants to create a very special video: "Everything Wrong With Balto. " To do this, he is asking for help from all members of Balto Source.
What is a "sin"? Typically, we're not talking about what a movie got wrong. We mean, specifically , a place in the movie where logic is thrown out the window. In Balto, for example, it would be a sin for how Steele could beat the sled dog team back to Nome, but not a sin for the historical inaccuracy that Steele didn' t even exist. (Other small errors the film made, such as continuity errors and the like, are still considered sins.) If you are not sure whether something is a sin or not, write it in anyway, and Skul will decide.
Remember, he will keep his video profanity-free (unilke CinemaSins), so don't suggest anything that includes profanity. We want to keep this site as kid-friendly as possible, even in videos made by fans. Aside from this, make sure to write all your "sins" in the comments below! Please read past comments to make sure your "sin" hasn't already been submitted. Skul may or may not use all these sins, but he will use as many as he can.
And if you are not sure that he is able to do this, here's one final video. Compare this video to the top video, and you'll see they're very similar. Everything Wrong With Balto will look like the bottom video, so what are you waiting for? Leave your comments on the film's sins!

Skul --> To be honest, I'm surprised at how overstated some of your gripes with Pokemon Heroes are - enough that my expectations of "Everything Wrong with Balto" are greatly diminished. I was looking forward to a reasonable assemblage of plot holes like the Hunger Games video, but to be honest I think you went a little overboard.
Wolf
And with the movies... plenty wrong, there is.

~ When Steele fell from a high cliff, he came back up RIGHT when his sled team were leaving. AND, with no cuts, scars, sprains, or broken bones.
~ When Balto fell from a high cliff, tumbling with him with ice, snow, and some rocks, he came up to to long without ANY cuts, scars, sprains, or broken bones.

Balto:
- Balto and Steele fell from high cliffs, bumping into everything and they get up almost imeditely, being perfectly fine.
- Steele climbed up almost vertical cliff in no time right after falling down.
- Nobody (humans) noticed that Steele is back.
- Kids are okay right after getting the medicine.
Balto 2:
- Niju had so many followers to choose, but his three most faithful sidekicks are the most stupid wolves in the pack.

Rosie in the animated part of the movie is most certainly supposed to be a young Alaskan child (voiced by Juliette Brewer), however in the live action scene she is played by Miriam Margolyes...a British-Australian actress who most certainly isn't from Alaska.

- Live-action scenes in an animated movie.
- Star is referencing a better movie [E.T. the Extraterrestial].
- Sin for every time Star is the movie's butt-monkey. [aka whenever he's hit by Kaltag, responded by Steele [usually in ignorance], is the butt of all jokes, etc.; the last animated scene of the movie doesn't count obviously]
- So how can people and other dogs tell that Balto is a wolf-dog when he looks similar to many other sledding dogs? Balto is more shaggy than the others, but color-wise and build-wise [even in the sequels], he could easily pass for a husky... just a shaggier one.
- Also, how did Steele know that Balto's mom was a wolf? I mean, it's not like he knows Balto personally - the guy can't even pronounce his name correctly - so never explained how he knows that piece of info.
- So tell me again, how is it possible for one team to travel the estimated 674 miles from Nome to Nenana and then back again...? I mean, sure, we don't know how long it took in movie-time to travel that distance, but if it took 5 1/2 days in real-life for 20 teams of sled dogs to relay the antitoxin to Nome, how in the heck did Steele and his team of lackeys make it almost all the way back to Nome without decent rest? I get that it was a mission of mercy, but come on!
- Potato chips weren't usually stored in boxes back then, Boris.
More to come soon!

r
- out of all puppies they had to make a movie about Jenna-looking one
- Balto is still not adopted
- There were delivery planes in the first Balto. Why is everyone freaking out?
- Boris fear of flight
- Owner doesn't care if Kodi wanders around right after the run (after the opening scene when other dogs gather around mr. Simpson and Kodi just wanders off with Balto and Jenna)
- Overly sexualized Stella
- crappy dog sled CGI
Berserke
r
- Balto is still homeless. Wouldn't anyone adopt him? Not even Rosie's familly?!
- Balto's dream in the first movie was to be a sled dog. Has he given up his biggest dream in the other two movies by still being a homeless mutt living in the boat?
Balto 2:
- Aleu's changing markings (3 times in total. Jenna's markings as newborn, brushy eyebows as pup, and ears changing to dark brown in the middle of the movie)
- Boris saying Aleu looks more wolf than Balto. She doesn't.
- Red faced pup looks nothing like Balto or Jenna
- Puppy error (jenna-like pup was adopted first, then we see it again instead of red-aleu pup)
- too many odd dream scenes
- Balto looks nothing like a husky. Aleu doesn't get a hint.
- How the HELL she doesn't know she and Balto are part wolf. Didn't she go to Nome? Didn't she play with pups there? Didn't ANYONE tell her?
- Aleu's husky shadow
- animation, animation, animation
- Jenna takes no interests about her pups
- songs
- Aleu's howling
- this girl is an individualist who probably knows nothing about living in the wild and leading a pack. let's make her a leader.
and I suggest looking at Dim Witted Aleu memes here for more xD

Skul: I would love to narrate this one!
x
Sin #xxxx+15: Balto has dream about totems that will cause him trouble. Confronts them anyway.
Sin #xxxx+16: Balto has dream about crow, trouble always follows. Follows crow anyway.
Sin #xxxx+17: Aleu sees the thoughts of a spirit bear.
Sin #xxxx+18: Aleu get's freaky glowing eyes. (Didn't she look scary enough?)
Sin #xxxx+19: Upon meeting wolf pack, Aleu suddenly decides she's a wolf.
Sin #xxxx+20: Wolf pack immediately accepts opinion of a half-wolf puppy who was raised in a town and literally just showed up that day.
Sin #xxxx+21: No one puts Aleu in her place.
Sin #xxxx+22: Nava not voiced by Leonard Nimoy.
Sin #xxxx+23: Nava fuses with a dead tree.
Sin #xxxx+24: Entire pack convinced to cross ice bridge because Aleu claims she had a vision.
Sin #xxxx+25: Third musical montage.
Sin #xxxx+26: Balto meets mother in spirit form. (closure not needed)
Verdict: Left behind with Nava and Niju. (Hell)
x
Sin #xxxx: 3D CGI intro (Even in 2003, it translated "Absolutely no thought or planning went into this movie")
Sin #xxxx+1: Boris gets random non-Russian accent.
Sin #xxxx+2: A Scotty shouting "The stork has landed!" Character never seen again.
Sin #xxxx+3: Even after pregnancy, Jenna is still anorexic.
Sin #xxxx+4: Musical montage
Sin #xxxx+5: Aleu doesn't know she's part wolf.
Sin #xxxx+6: Muk and Luk not voiced by Phil Collins. (seriously, Phil Collins, or no polar bears)
Sin #xxxx+7: Muk piggyback's on Luk while Luk balances on a log rolling down a hill to seriously mess up a hunter's day.
Sin #xxxx+8: Balto and Jenna failed to teach their part wolf daughter that a human with a gun is probably a hunter who wants to hunt a wolf.
Sin #xxxx+9: Aleu doesn't know her dad is part wolf.
Sin #xxxx+10: Aleu hates her dad for being part wolf.
Sin #xxxx+11: Singing mouse.
Sin #xxxx+12: Musical montage with singing mouse.
Sin #xxxx+13: Aleu doesn't know who she is because of singing mouse.
Sin #xxxx+14: Boris tells Jenna to stay home, even though she can take on an angry grizzly bear.
x
Balto 1:
Sin #xxxx: Jeans left in sub-zero temperatures to dry.
Sin #xxxx+2: Goose with fingers.
Sin #xxxx+3: All dogs have free run of the town.
Sin #xxxx+4: Purple Pomeranian!
Sin #xxxx+5: Overly ventilated hospital. (How does anyone get better with all that cold air coming in?)
Sin #xxxx+6: Rats under overly ventilated hospital. (Obviously, people go there to catch Raibes)
Sin #xxxx+7: Malmute poses like a pointer.
Sin #xxxx+8: Dogs gather in random boiler room. Humans aren't curious.
Sin #xxxx+9: Telegraph man turns off signal lantern, telling townsfolk they're screwed and making it harder for the team to see the town. (Seriously, what if they got lost?)
Sin #xxxx+10: Sneezing dog sets of avalance. (Seriously, have you ever heard a dog sneeze? Nothing like humans)
Sin #xxxx+11: People who fear Balto suddenly start petting him when he leads the team back to Nome.
Sin #xxxx+12: No humans wonder where Steele is.
Verdict: Kick in the head with a frozen mukluk. (Jail)

- Sin count for all lines that could be [and probably are] double-entredres and innuendos in a G-rated movie. This includes animated actions by characters towards characters. [Examples: Jenna - "I like my meat cooked", Steele - "I know where all the bones are buried"; actions: Jenna lying on top of Balto, the "bedroom eyes", etc.]
- How in the world did Steele's musher survive the whole trip from Nenana to Nome? Think about it: he was knocked out when the team fell down the mountain, hurled off the sled TWICE, and in the freezing cold for probably days on end. He should be dead by the time the Balto-led team brought him to Nome, but he was clearly still ALIVE. Impossible!
More to come soon!

In other respects, though, there's some decent points here about plot holes and such.

Why didn't anyone get Rosie's hat when it blew onto the path Steele's team was on? There were lot of people around, at least one of them must have seen it happen.
When the ice bridge collapsed and Balto grabbed on to a branch to keep the team from falling. I'm pretty sure a small branch like that couldn't support a whole sled team.

- At the end, Muk and Luk are greeting Balto in town. How nobody get scared of two polar bears running around in the crowd?
- Fat dogs in sled teams
- And not sure if it's a sin but Muk and Luk are fairly small. Villain bear is HUGE. Way too big.

And there's plenty more where that came from! I'm excited about this, honestly.
