Little info on B3

Written by steet :

First, I have changed the poll once again. I haven't put any fan art this time, I'll wait to have more to make an update to the fan section.
I have found a BIG cover, the complete spanish cover for B3 :

I've also found some advertising info (mixed with LBT10), still for the Spanish release (the release date there is oct 13th) : click here for the .pdf file.
Finally, a page for Balto 3 has been added on the IMDB.com database, with some interesting information : for example, the budget for this sequel was 3.500.000 $. I'm not really aware of the costs of an animated film, but this seems rather low, even for a DTV sequel, and it was probably the same amount for WQ. At least, the makers of the film must be proud to have managed to make of B3 a good film with that low budget!

The difference is that you said, specifically, the "cover designers for Balto movies," which implies, to me, that ONLY the cover designers for BALTO movies go on that premise, OR that it is unusual that they do. Steet said that it is a common practice, and that Disney does it as well. How is that restating the same thing? Perhaps what you meant was the same thing, but it didn't read that way. At any rate, I'm sorry to have taken such a petty argument so far. I just don't like being taken out of context.

Ok, iornically, I didn't read all of your post porperly. However, the point I'm making is that what Boris said essentially just agreed wiuth what I said. I don't see any difference between my saying that cover designers just try to fit all of the main characters onto the front cover, and Boris saying essentially the same thing. The only difference was he said this meant they weren't 'lying about the content', which I suppose differs if you like from my comment that the cover scene may not correspond to any particular scene in the movie. Amyway, I'm sorry I brought it up.

You evidently just didn't read all of my post. This is all from my post, before Boris responded:

"One thing we can at least surmise from the US cover of Wolf Quest: what's depicted on the cover probably has nothing to do with any particular scene in the movie....

... I think the cover designers for Balto movies just work on the premise "fit all of the main characters onto the cover, even if what they're doing doesn't make any sense"

Sorry if I've confused anyone. But to clarify, you, Lupercal, said: "I think the cover designers for Balto movies just work on the premise "fit all of the main characters onto the cover, even if what they're doing doesn't make any sense" " To which Steet replied, "Well, as for the cover, they usually put all the main characters on the cover, Disney do the same. It's not as if they were lying about the content. "
Unless my browser is deceiving me, changing the names shown above the messages.

Well, when I made the comments system, I thought about giving a "edit" button, but there would be problems with people editing posts from other people, and I didn't want to make accounts with passwords etc... So, sorry if you can't edit. (I'm the only one who can, so you can ask me if it's really important :p)

"And, like Steet said, most covers, particularly those for animated movies, strive to fit all or as many characters as possible into the picture. It's not as if it's anything new. "

- actually I said that. Unless that's what you were referring to as a proof reading error.

Oops. And that, folks, is what happens when you forget to proofread after changing the course of a point midsentence.
