Yes, I meant your links section. I don't know what it is: firefox has been acting a little odd lately. I'm using .9. I should probably grab the 1.0 version. I also use a pop-up blocking proxy because it does lots of things firefox doesn't, and I thought it may have been that, but disabling that had no effect. The link only became clickable when I disabled firefox's pop-up blocker. Same goes for all the links. I can't remember whether I've ever clicked on any of the linksin the past, so not sure if this is a new problem, let alone whose problem it is. As for my board... well I think what happened with your site was that you got a big increase in traffic because when B3 came along you were the only person with new information about it, wh was regularly researching and updating it, so that made your site distinctly differemt. I don't see anythnig like that happening with my board. Unless it's in the fact that at the time I started it, I was trying to do away with unescessary rule like double posting. However if that was going to make a difference, I would have thought it would have done by now.

Mmm, Loop, when you say the links page, do you mean my links page? That would be strange...I use Firefox and I never got this kind of problem. As for his site, I believe it is a Freewebs issue. The downloads are really slow for me, I think it must be the same for everyone, that's a shame, and a reason I feel lucky to have a really good host , and for free (Thanks to Timduru! He's also a Balto fan and his site is one of the older (if not the older!) on the web. Check it if it's not already done.)

Well, I'm sorry that nearly nobody joined your forums Loop; but when you say "I'm personally against redunancy and needless similar sites getting almost no traffic", then I could have removed my site way back to june, since there wasn't too much people on my site and I hadn't many original things on my site too...Would have it been a good idea if I removed it? I don't think so....

Ok, I got it to load. Sort of. For some reason your links page won't work on my copy of firefox unless I disable the 'block pop-ups' option, which is odd, because they're not really pop-ups, just 'open in another window' links. Anyway, even when I did get it to connect, the page wouldn't fully load after about 2 or 3 minutes, and I gave up. I don't know if this a problem my end or freewebs' end. In any event I guess I would be asking, quite part from whether the design was copied or not, does it add anything new or different to the Balto community? I'm not saying it doesn't, because I couldn't get it to load properly. However that reasoning is why I'm deleting my message board by the end of this week unless I can really think of a good reason not to. There are loads of the things out there now, and what use is another one? My only real reason for starting it in the first place was because I weasn't allowed to post at the only other forum style message board, but now they seem to be everywhere.

Well I get a 404 when I try to go that site anyway, so I don't know ihow similar to yours it is. However if it's as similar as you're implying, I think it's refreshing to see someone not throwing a total fit about copyright. I know any number of people who would be going on about the webpage layout being their intellectual property (which may well be true) and writing to the webmaster threatening legal action and getting the site shut down, and...

...oh, wait. Ha ha. Errr.. did you?

I read it, I posted this news before though; don't take that wrong, it's just that this is the first time someone make a new Balto site since I've made my own one, and one that looks like mine; but I know that it's becoming really hard to get new ideas, since nearly everything has already been done. I had this problem when I made Balto Source, I feared the webmasters of the other Balto sites to say that I've copyied their site. That didn't happen though. Now, you've surely put a lot of time making yours too, so I probably shouldn't react like this.

Well, not really, it's just some ideas that you've used (the blinking eyes, the random image, the global design and structure, some lines). But that's okay, there's no copyright on this, and the content is different.

About those copying about my site, you sounded sort of like I stole your copyright. I apologized if so. Pls advice me. I shall take immediate action. Thanks.
