I think this is a great idea, finally letting the people decide, sort of like democracy x3

It seemes that only me noticed that there were more and more argue and fights in this site. Thanks for doing something to solve it. Time will show if it's a good or bad , now it's just a solution to a problem that is growing on this site.

WAIT, a poll on people or opinions on things/what to do with in the site (like "sparkledogs")?

On people would just be messing everybody up. The human mind is basically h-bent on self-esteem. (Infact, I've just read 3 scientific articles on it. So I have at the least, a basic idea on it.) So if what happens with people on the site is based on poll (= opinions) the majority of people would follow the accepted/popular opinion. Regardless of what actually happened or what they really said (etc.) to not be 'socially' rejected on the site, though I think it's kind of pathetic...

This is just a setup for chaos.

Now, I know I said what I had to say. But there is something I need to get off my chest.

All the dramatical stuff that is going on here for a while, is all the same for some season. I don't know if anyone sees that, but I do. If not that that's fine; I wont argue with you. Drama is everywhere in the world today; outside the internet and out there in the real world. We all have sayings and different comments, questions and minds. But what if no one wants to hear of what you have to say that is negative; that can make others mad or upset. Maybe that's why people are complaining and drama brakes out.

Steet is pretty much right; yes. This is a fansite and a fun site too. For anyone; kids, teens, young adults and yeah, you get the picture. It's for everybody. When I first joined on this site; my plan was to have fun meet new friends and make everyone happy, help others and love one another. But the happiness is here, sometimes. Helping is here, if someone wants help. But the friendship is not friends anymore. What I mean is that friends are not being friends anymore. You know why?

People on here, are disagreeing with each other. It's like politics; but different. It's a drama fight of who is right and who is wrong. Who can't say that and who can't say this. It happens everywhere; and we can not control it. Some of us can and some of us can not; and some of us just ignore it, or just stay out of it. For me, I do something about it. If they want help I'll be happy to help them; if not, that's fine. I'm a person with feelings; happy, sad, mad you name it. But I keep my bad feelings to my self. Like the mad, drama and bad moods to myself.

I'm tired being these things; I just want to be a happy young adult person who wants everyone to be happy on this site and in this world. But I know that's not going to happened. So why am I telling you this? That is something I should keep to myself. Like some people on here should do; not what I said, but bad words and sayings that makes others mad and upset.

I know some of you are not happy of what Steet is doing right now. But he is the webmaster and it is his saying; his freedom of speech. I love Steet as a brother and a good friend; good or bad, he still is a pretty good person. If you disagreed with me; that's fine, I wont argue with you. But that's my thought. If he wants to put this message up for some of us that dose care; and you don't; then don't make your message a good and not chaos message. Just say that you still care, but you disagree of what that person has to say. That is my opinion. Like I said; if you disagreed with me, thats fine.

My point is; I just keep my bad comments to myself, I go ask someone for help not let it kill my mind. I go to a friend who will lesson and help me out and who is not very busy.

That's why I made myself into a shoutbox therapist, so I can help others with there relationship problems and other stuff that there having problems in life. Steet does care about your feelings and your life; but again, he is a busy person and he wont have the time to make you and your life happy again. That's when I come in or your friends; that cares and loves you as friends, bothers and sisters. They will help you, like I do on here. That's what friends are for; right?

Well, after reading this post several times, here's what I think:

What I think is bad: Even though Steet said he doesn't spend as much time on the site as many of us, it's kind of his job to hear people's problems and fix them. I know sometimes he might not want to fix something and let the people deal with it, but this shouldn't happen too much. Now...he doesn't seem like he cares a lot about most problems.

What I think is good: I agree that all this site is is one problem after another, and I miss how much fun it was in the past, when there wasn't much arguing and fighting. So...what? What I'm trying to say is that this site is purely for fun, and entertainment. That's it. It shouldn't be people calling each other names or insulting someone for having an opinion, which i REALLY hate. On another note, even though I said Steet doesn't care about most problems, notice how I said MOST. He obviously cared about the sparkle dog issue, and he cares about this one too...he just has a different way of fixing them...

"So when there will be trouble related to a few specific members, and people are turning on me to solve it, I will ask YOU, the visitors, your opinion."

What I think is bad: Our opinion, huh? Well this should be good. Lately, opinions are the cause of spamming and flaming and stuff like that (which shouldn't be the cause, but are). So just according to this sentence, this will probably cause more problems. And again, Steet should be there to fix most problems, when he's here at least.

What I think is good: Also notice how I said probably in the second sentence. Honestly, it could go either way. It all depends on who is causing the problems. It could get rid of the people causing headaches for everyone. And I guess Steet's just overwhelmed because everyone is turning to him with every little issue. And about how steet should fix problems, I meant the problems that really matter. Maybe this idea could let people "vent their feelings" and complain about the problem, rather then just putting it all on steet.

Okay just one more quote.

What I think is bad: I'm not sure all the members will ever decide together, especially since everyone has such clear opinions (good or bad). And what if it really isn't for the best? What if it's the start of another war on here? You never really know.

What I think is good: At least he recognized that this will lead to conflicts. It's not like if he thinks it's a good idea than everyone else does too. That's just not possible, anyway. And who knows, this might actually turn out smoothly, though very rough at the beginning. The same thing happened with the sparkle dog issue. The minute steet posted there were a lot of negative comments, but after a few months, everything died down a little bit, and people seem to be okay with it now...unless I missed something.

So there you go. I know it's a long post, and it's okay If you didn't even read to this sentence. But I felt I had to post my own opinion. And let me say this too. I also RESPECT all of your opinions, I really do. And I really don't mean to insult anyone. If you guys feel I am, please tell me so I can make the appropriate changes to my post. And also, if you really want to insult me for this (and that's okay) just insult my post NOT me. I really don't like when people call each other names for something they post. Here's what i say: Call the post and insult, not the person, because a post will not feel horrible about it. It's just written word XD Thank you guys to any one who reads this.

It's not about that sort of thing, Himmel. It's about drama that is stemmed in flaming and trolling and oneupmanship. Far worse.

Talking about problems on AS is simply attention-seeking behavior. A common problem on the shoutboxes. But that's a different subject entirely.

Who talks about their problems on Balto Source anyway?

Anton, if more people approached this the way you just did, we would be MUCH better off on this site. But almost no one wants to take the time to TALK. No, they'd rather flame, troll, bully, embarrass and tease other people. And THAT, Anton, is the great failing of the internet generation, and most people who spend TIME in the internet (no matter how much time). It's like a disease. And flaming and trolling is a very contagious one. People are all too ready to jump on the bandwagon.

But Sora-Kun is right in her comment. And so was I. Steet's approach to this was TERRIBLE, and has only provided a place for people to rip on others, and flame like crazy.

Take a good thorough look at what has happened in that "tribunal" board (by the by...definition time: "tribunal" refers to a three-person judiciary body...not a "democratic" vote or mob rules kind of thing as has been set up here). Note specifically WHO has done the most complaining, flaming and cyberbullying in that board, and who has maintained their cool (or avoided it altogether). You'll note that, most especially, MightyBalto1925 has been the butt of cruel and vicious flaming and horrid misinformation (as have I). NO ONE deserves less the garbage which has been spewed about them in that stupid board than MightyBalto1925. And in the short time that this latest pathetic ripple started, and with one very specific change in the forum staff, MightyBalto1925 was removed as a Balto Source moderator (which she did not deserve), she was removed as a forum moderator (which she DEFINITELY did not deserve), all under the pretext of her being "too immature".

I ask anyone reading this comment to scan over anything MightyBalto1925 has done on this site as a moderator, an administrator (of Lady & The Tramp Source) and the forum, and see if you can find instances of immaturity and poor moderating. Granted, she's made mistakes. EVERY MODERATOR AND ADMIN HAS. EVERY ONE. But she gets more than the lion's share of blame, flaming and loss of positions for the same things that others have done (sometimes even much more than her).

And then I ask you to look at the "tribunal" board, and ask yourselves, after taking the time to read the posts, who (including moderators) is being immature, and who has demonstrated discipline and maturity, and even kept clear. The one who has done the most to steer clear of that disaster is MightyBalto1925.

Well, so much for helping people on here.

Well this is NOT going to stop me from helping others. So there.

Steet is a good person, and he is very busy with other things, then helping people with problems in there lives.
