After blacking out and being found by a wolf hunting group, Patrick awakens to find that these wolves saved his life and are helping him recover. With the horror of the attack still haunting him, Patrick refuses to talk about it, but the other wolves understand. He soon meets other wolves and quickly makes new friends, something he was never really able to do in his pack. One of them is the female wolf that found him, Sara. After spending some time with his new friends everyone, including Patrick, is convinced that he'll have a new happy life in this pack.
