A lone black wolf that goes by the name of Shadow is injured by a few hunters roaming the woods. Shadow, feared by all wolves, has little chance of survival on his own, and must find help before it is too late. Out on this small Alaskan island, Shadow finds hope. But will he snap, and kill his life savers, or find peace as one of them?
