Year 2007. One afternoon I was zapping trough the channels and i noticed that CN airing a movie, That looked familiar to me. I realized that was a new sequel to Balto, to my surprise and joy.
I was still young to understand the great message that this movie gives you ''you don't have to be a hero''
You may asked, a lot of heart? Why? The reason is simple, Balto believed that he can't beat the Bush plane, and he will fail to his beloved son Kodiak, but his partner Jenna, told him in a song, that he don't have to win to become an excellent father (indeed he is).
So I say that this movie have a lot of heart, that words can only come from there. I should add, the fact that Kodi and other dogs repented of what they said and went to help Balto and Duke, was the highlight of the film (yes, sorry Kodi detractors, although Balto and Duke almost died, Kodi arrived just in time to save them, deal with It).
And now, what I DON'T liked:
Stella: Yes, that bipolar bird came to overshadow the film, her musical number got out my nerves.
Muk and Luk: I consider them the Sheldon Coopers or Ralph Wiggums of Balto films, but they don't grow up, these two guys seem to go abckward through the age.
And the note:
The scene of the ice breaking, in the other two films, that sure will become a drama, but not in this case, it was a child's game, which I loved, as it bothered Stella.
Well my critic's finished, I hope you like it.
Baltic out. Happy summer to all!
