Maybe this is just me, but I thought this was at least a tiny step up from Balto 2. Actually, I think this should have been the original second movie. At least it keeps the same sort of tone the first movie had.

The animators weren't great. The anatomy was even worse and many of the characters weren't even realistically colored (I mean come on, Dusty was purple and Ralph was blue!). And some characters were just hateful (cough-Stella-cough). But at least these characters weren't ripped off from other movies.

The music. Just as bad as the first movie. Corny and aimed at five years olds who want to sing along with the movie.

However, they kept that whole history/ almost- true theme going and the overall plot was pretty good. For example, the whole Bush plane idea was original and most of the storyline is about as believable as the first movie. 

I think this movie could have been really great if they used this as the second movie instead of wolfquest. With a little more money to fix up the animation and pay someone with musical talent, this could have been an awesome second movie! So +5 for good plot, accuracy and original ideas but -5 for crappy music, animation and other stuff that a low budget couldn't afford.
