Balto 2 : Wolf Quest

9 / 10 9 / 10

Interesting, to Say the Least,

I first saw "Balto: Wolf Quest" during its Cartoon Network in 2001. At the time, I had seen the first "Balto", but a long time ago, and didn't really remember too much about it. So I was just browsing through the channels on TV one day, and saw this film come up. I was curious, and decided to watch it.

Let's just say I liked it so much, I was in tears.

From a critical perspactive, the animation was sloppy, but the story and acting was terrific. There's so much to look at, and so much that I love about this film. It not only introduced me to "Balto", but helped inspire me with its great story, memorable characters, and the heart-warming relationship between Balto and Aleu.

If you haven't seen it yet, you're missing out.

I remember the premiere date actually being on February 17, 2002. At least that's the earliest I can remember hearing about it. And I agree, the whole father-daughter relationship between Balto and Aleu was well-played out and is what really drove the story. Definitely worth seeing.

I have only seen the 1st one but Im buying the sequels since I loved the film so much it's a shame that people pick out the bad bits of the film and don't really notice the best parts like the story and even though people say the animation is a bit sloppy in the sequels from the clips I have seen its not as bad as people say it is

I so agree with you

Fallen wolf
It was an okay movie to me...I stil prefer the first movie but this movie doesn't have a bad story line. I give it a 7 or an 8

WQ > Balto > WoC
I'm glad I'm not the only one that actually sees the good things in this sequel instead of the piles of flaws in it. Shoot, I like the fact that THIS got you into the Balto franchise!
