A'ight, let me break it down for you:
Story-- Basic in my opinion, I kind of guessed it from looking at the cover and the title "dogs vs. plane", tough I didn't expect it to have to do with the mail dogs. And the plane getting lost wasn't entirely expected either, though such a twist is still kind of standard for a typhical kid's movie.
Animation-- Less then good for sure, though it was kind of a step-up from the 2nd movie to me.
Characters-- Good for a kids movie, not good for me though. Stella was just bad and not necessary for the movie, not to mention not a compatible match for Boris; Mel was even worse, I literally MUTE my TV whenever he comes up; and Kodi--even though he was Balto's son--I really don't see anything special about him, sorry, but I don't. Even Kodi's friends were somewhat annoying.
Music-- Nothing special here. The "Everything Flies" song was sort of catchy, but not great. "You don't have to be a hero" seemed a bit Mariah Carey-ish, though the lyrics were nice. I didn't like "Come on up and fly", but I didn't hate it either. It seems like the songs were kind of a sad attempt by Universal to try and be like Disney, especially since the first Balto had almost no songs at all.
Overall-- Bad, bad sequel that little kids will enjoy. Heck, I liked it when I was 12.
... and that concludes my simple, easy-to-understand review.
