Steele was born at a breeding company.his mother and father hated eachother.He was born In the winter,and the dog house he was kept in was extremly cold.Every week The man who ran the company would check on the pups.He would pick out 2 to 4 pups out of every litter and kept them to sale to other people.He would try to pridict witch pups would be the strongest and he would tag thier ear to know which ones he was going to kept to sale.He never told the owners of the dogs that he kept a few,he would just say..."I gave the other pups to the owner of the other dog."

  The man disided to tag the ears of the pups he wanted in steele's litter.He creept slowly into the dog house carrying a muzzel behind his back.The mother dog started barking and he slipped the muzzel around her mouth.he tagged a yound male a young female and steele.

 a few weeks later he gave back the other pups to the owners and untagged the other pups ear's so he could sale them.Then once they were gone,The man slipped a chain collor around  the pups that he kept's neck."Whats this?"Steele asked his brother."A coke collor."He ansered."No it's not it's a CHOKE collor not a coke collor!"There sister ansewered.Then the man tied some kind of rope to there collors.Steele's brother sniffed it."What is it?"steele asked him.But before he could answere the man pulled the rope and the choke collor tighed around there necks.They let out a cry."Quite YOU LITTLE RATS!"The man yelled.the man pulled harder and the pups jerked forward.He did this again until the pups followed him.The man slung them into a small shed.he closed the door and it was extremly dark.There sister sprung at the door and scratched and winned.

  Hours later the man retured and got out the pups.Again he pulled them around with the rope.It was dark out and the kennel was closed.The man with the rope took many other stops to dog houses to pull out more huskys.He fanilly had twelve and dragged them onto the road and across the street into town.The man with the rope walked into an alley way and came back out with a box and Two coat racks.The box had a sighn on it that said,pure breed husky pups.And one of the coat racks had different collors the others had ropes like the one the man with the rope pulled them around with.

 One by one the man with the rope took off the collors of the pups and put them in the box.One man walked by them."Sir,Can I intrest you in a cheap husky pup?!?"The man with the rope said."As a matter of fact,I need 2 for my team!"The man that was walking said and walked over to the box.He looked at one female."Thats dot."The man with the rope said.He looked at her paws."I'll take her and..."The man looked at steele's brother.He opened up his mouth and looked at his teeth.The pup snapped at the man.The man popped him and took a different pup."Thats spike."The man with the rope said.The man gave him money and walked off.

 After the man was out of sight the man with the rope took steele's brother into the alley and beat him."DON'T YOU COST ME A SALE RUNT!"The man with the rope said at put him back in the box.

 A little while later a diferent man walked up."I need a lead dog."The man said.He picked up steele."Good choise sir,I call that one steele because of...uh...He's strong."The man with the rope said."Do you have collors?"The man asked.Yes take your pick."The man with the rope said.He picked out 2,one that was chain[choke collor]and one was leather and a rope[leash]

 the man gave the man with the rope the money and Put the choke collor and rope around steele's neck and put him in a truck.they drove off.Later they arravied at a house.The man switched the collors on steele and lead him to a chain linked fenced in place with dog houses.The man drugh him in and they passed dog house after dog house each one with a chain rope that lead in side of the dog houses.Each one had a pic of white wood with a name patted on it.one said'niki' another said "Kaltag" and on close to the end said "Star" on the one on the end diddn't say anything,and the chain diddn't lead to anything.Then the man attached the chain to steele's collor.He patted him on the head and left to go in his house.steele under stood.This is were he stayed.

 He woke up that mornig and there was food in front of his dog house.He ate it then started looking around at his surroundings.Then he heard a rattleing.He looked to see the man entering the gate.He picked up steele.

 The man took them to the front porch.He sat in a rocking chair and held steele.A big truck drove up and parked in there yard.A tall man steped out of the truck.he went around and opened the passenger's door.A tall,lean orange and white malamute steeped out.he had one rown eye and one green eye.steele looked at him but it just growled.the man walked up to steele's owner.

He put steele down."Who are you?"Steele asked the malamute."I'm your coach!You better be though to go through my shcool."He told him and steele gulped.

 A year passed and steele was almost done getting traind to run.one day the malamute fanily left,and steele had turned into a monster.the sled race was comming,and he was ready.
