I'm glad you liked Kodan's character, especially since I usually try to make the good guy someone you want to root for. It's good to know the classic hero archetype hasn't lost support.
I plead guilty to stealing the multiple perspective technique from K.A. Applegate's "Animorphs Megamorphs" side-series. I couldn't settle on what would be the better approach, first-person or third, so I decided that method would make for a good marriage of the two (and what better thing to have in a love story?).

Hmm, this was quite an enjoyable read! I had read a lot of fanfiction dealing with this subject explaining the backgrounds of Aniu and Balto's husky father, but this was one of the most unique ones I'd read in a long while!

I liked how Aniu's actual past is a mystery - that just adds more personality to her character and I love it. I also like Kodan's character - he's the good guy that you want to root for and he really seems to care about his love for Aniu. I love the use of the multiple perspectives - it really worked well so that we could enter the characters' actual thoughts and inner emotions. Bravo!

Great job! *faves you* Personally, I don't think it needs a sequel or continuation. Still, it's a wonderful story that everyone should read!
