Satoru is a young wolfdog, a loner. When he first established his territory, another wolfdog named Kodi came up to him and told him to leave. Satoru got mad, and attacked Kodi. Kodi was unprepared, and Satoru soon had his throat. He bit until blood came out, then he let go of Kodi and told him never to come back. Satoru got used to fighting off intruders, and his happy living where he is. One day, he was outnumbered as a whole pack of wolves attacked him. He tried hard to fight, but soon they had him pinned. Satoru had to beg for mercy, and they chased him out of their territory. Satoru then found new territory near the ocean. He had become a great fisher, and his proud of his skills. Soon, he heard of the Pack of Light, a new pack that had made it's home in the mountains. He heard that the beta female was looking for a mate, so he went to meet her. Later he found out that she wasn't the female for him. So he left the beaches and continued wandering. One day he was captured by a group of humans, and was given to a little girl. She put a green collar on him, but Satoru ran away. He ran far, and is looking for a group of wolves who will take him in. He soon met the Runaway Wanderers, and a female named Esmererlda. They became great friends, and one day Kieth blurted out that Emma liked him. Satoru was shocked when Emma ran away, so he went after her. She was embaressed, but Satoru confessed he liked her too, and they became mates. They also became the leaders of the Runaway Wanderers.
