Personality: Esmerelda is pretty sweet and caring, but she's also very fierce and determined. She is not easy on apologizing, sometimes. Esmerelda loves to make friends and hunt. She isn't a fan of violence, but if she must, she can leave you mangled and torn up. If her feelings are hurt, she'll end up hurting other people's feelings, too. Not on purpose, of course. Esmerelda is very affectionate, even though she doesn't look it, and is sarcastic.

History: Esmerelda was born in a large pack, along with her 4 siblings, Eric, Eli, Ivan/Isaac, and Charmcaster. Esmerelda was very close to them all, and nothing could drive her apart from them. When Esmerelda got older, she became friends with a brown pup named Balto, who was a  month older than her. Eventually, they became the best of friends. But one day, a devastating blizzard hit, and Balto and Aniu had been away from the camp, unwarned. No one knows what happened to them, but after the blizzard, there was no sign of Aniu and her pup. Emma was sad, thinking they were dead, but carried on with her life. When she was about 2 years old, during a hunting patrol, she ran into a brown wolfdog. She wasn't very friendly at first, but after realizing it was actually Balto, she was nothing but joy.

Forgetting her patrol, Esmerelda allowed Balto to show her Nome, and to introduce her to his friends. Muk and Luk were happy, because they thought she could be a playmate, Boris gave a shrug as a greeting, and Jenna faked a smile. When Balto left, Jenna turned to Esmerelda and told her to back off, for she had a big crush on Balto, and didn't want Esmerelda to come up between them.

Esmerelda thought Jenna was crazy, but after some time, she realized she did like Balto. She didn't tell him, though, which turned out to be a mistake. Jenna had told Balto that she loved him, and they became boyfriend/girlfriend. Jenna had also told Balto that Esmerelda had beat her to death last week, and that Esmerelda was in love with him, too. What a lie about the beating! But Balto believed it, and told Emma that this was the end to their friendship. He turned his back on her, and nuzzled Jenna. Jenna sent a smirk Emma's direction that said clearly, 'he's mine, sucker. haha!' Esmerelda went away, but not to her old pack. She accidently stumbled upon another wolf pack, called the Twilight Dusk Pack. Their alpha female, Ally, invited Emma to join as a fighter. Esmerelda gladly did so. She became close friends with Samurai, another fighter.

While on a patrol during the winter, Emma and Samurai found a golden pup in the snow, just a mile or so from their pack's territory. (it had been Samurai's idea to explore farther) They brought the pup back to the camp, and the pup was alive, luckily. He was named Kieth, and he became quite a trouble to the pack members. Kieth loved to wake everyone up right before dawn with an ear-splitting howl that reached Nome. Esmerelda grew used to it.

At some point, Esmerelda, Kieth, Samurai, Ice, Malcom, and Kashina left the pack to join the Pack of Light. Esmerelda was shocked when Kieth had to break up with Sanya. On the journey to the Pack of Light's territory, Kieth got attacked by a bear, and a white wolf rescued him. Her name was Alina, and she and Kieth became friends, and later on, mates. They finally found their way to the Pack of Light, and Esmerelda became a loyal hunter.

While she was on a patrol, she came across a brown wolfdog. She immediently felt hostile, for it was Balto. He started to babble about how he hadn't meant what he had said back in Nome, and then he begged her to be his mate. Emma refused, and then Jenna appeared. She looked upset. Jenna told Balto how she'd followed him when he went to search for Emma, and she couldn't believe that he loved Emma instead of her. Balto just told Jenna that she was too 'clingy' to be mates with.

Jenna didn't like his comment, and angrily told him that their relationship was over. She bared her teeth, then she attacked Emma with a yell, snarling angrily that this was all Emma's fault. Emma shook the red husky off easily, and grabbed Jenna's scruff. She hurled her into the snow forcefully, and watched in satisfaction as Jenna's red body crashed into a tree by accident painfully. Jenna staggered up after a few minutes, and let out a piteous wail, and scampered off. Balto then growled at Emma, "You didn't have to crush her! What's gotten into you, Emma?! You're so bad-tempered all of a sudden."

That got Emma angry. She tackled Balto into the snow, tearing him apart. It took both Samurai and Kieth to pull Emma off, and it wasn't easy. Esmerelda was still panting, and her eyes blazed with fury. There was bloody smears on her paws, chest and mouth. Balto lay in the snow, battered and bloody, and tuffs of his fur were lying everywhere. Balto wasn't hurt that badly, though. Luckily, Emma had been restrained before any serious damage could have taken place. Balto scrambled to his paws, panting heavily, and ran away.

Unfortunately for Emma, Balto still keeps trying to get Emma to be his mate, and he has now officially ruined their friendship. To Esmerelda, he is just a pest now. When Malcom left the Pack of Light, she and Kieth obediently followed him, not wanting to lose their friend. Eventually, their small group became a gigantic group of wolves. (only for me and Noss, by the way. No one else)

Esmerelda made friends with a male wolf named Satoru. Emma found herself liking him every time she glanced at him, and she found that she had a crush on him. She didn't want to ruin their friendship, so she kept it a secret until Kieth accidently said it out loud while they were talking. Satoru looked shocked, and Emma ran away in embarrasment. She hid under a thick pine tree, hoping no one would find her. She felt awkward in her stomach, and somehow she knew that her friendship with Satoru(and Kieth, for blurting out her secret) was ruined. Surprisingly, she saw Satoru's brown pelt come into view, and he seemed to be looking for her. Quietly, She slid out of her hiding place, looking down at her paws.

Satoru swung his head around when he heard the crunching of leaves, and saw Emma. With a silent breath of relief, he padded over to her, and asked her if she was ok. 'I'm fine, but when I get back, I'm going to kill Kieth." She sighed, blushing, and looked away. Satoru nuzzled her cheek, and said that he liked her too. Emma felt relieved, and they became mates a few days later.

When Emma turned 4, she wandered away from the RWs den in the middle of the night. She had been suffering from depression for the past month, and almost everyone had gotten annoyed and frustrated with her sluggish behavior. She didn't know how to make depression go away, and she didn't want to deal with her packmates frustration towards her, so she left, and never came back.

The next day, Siberia, Emma's cousin, discovered that Emma was missing. She looked for her cousin for weeks, because Emma was the last bit of family she had left. Emma was nowhere to be found. Siberia didn't give up, though. She traveled far out of the RW's borders, but her mission was unsuccessful...until the day she decided to go back to the RW's territory. She caught Emma's scent near a mountain-surrounded lake, which was so big that it looked like a mini sea. Siberia was terrified that Emma had drowned in its deep waters, so she followed her cousin's scent, expecting the worst.

Siberia found Emma on the shore of the northern side of the lake, and it looked like Emma was dead. But Siberia couldnt find any wounds or signs of starvation and illness on her cousin, and she was even more confused when she saw that Emma's fur wasnt covered in water. If Emma hadn't drowned, starved, gotten sick, or become injured...how did she die? Siberia wailed the question to sky, but she got no answer...
