Personality: Avery is seen as a rather sweet, innocent little doe. She doesn't like to think very negatively, so she tends to keep her head in the clouds. She loves to day dream and watch the clouds or butterflies. Zev can find her annoying at times, mainly because she isn't one to pay attention for very long. Despite seeming naiive and too young to understand, she actually understands more about this world than most realize. She loves to adventure, mainly because she gets distracted by new places and deer long enough that she doesn't have to think about her uncle's unsettling behavior, or why she doesn't have a mother like most fawns. Most wouldn't guess it, but she can be rather melancholic at times, mainly when she's alone. She can sense her uncle's sadness, and often tries to keep the mood light hoping he'll become happier as well. Around other deer, she can be a bit shy at first, but only if she doesn't know them. But, once she does know you, she'll be more than happy to bounce around or play with you.

History: Avery and her sibling were born during a rather brutal attack by a pack of wolves. Her uncle Wolfe, as well as her mother and only sibling perished, however her uncle and her were lucky enough to make it out alive. After the wolves were gone, Zev quickly moved her to a new location, washed her coat of blood, then kept her warm so that she could live. Once she was old enough to walk, her uncle and her began to travel once again. At first, she never questioned why she didn't have a mother-in fact, she didn't know what a mother was. Zev was her guardian, her guide, and she trusted him completely with her life. He told her to call him 'uncle', and accepted it as is.

As they continued on, she began to notice other deer with families, and she asked her uncle. He quickly explained, then changed the subject. She was curious, and continually asked him over and over, but he denied her questions over and over. She soon dropped it, seeing as Zev was rather unhappy when she mentioned it. Still, that didn't stop her from being curious. At one point, she and her uncle arrived at a great forest, where it was made known that an unknown relative of hers, her uncle Rowan, had recently passed, leaving a fawn, Ronno, alone with his mother. She was eager to meet this long lost cousin of hers, and after much pestering, she was able to meet him in person. Seeing the distressed fawn, she decided to help him, and try to show him the brighter side of life, but he only shoved her away. After this display, her uncle took her away, but not before she could briefly see Bambi and his father. After that, they continued on their travel, meeting others and having a life of adventure.
