Personality:

Very sweet and calm-natured, doesn’t like fighting or arguing very much, peace-loving, polite, attentive – Fir is more or less the exact opposite of his bold older sister Lyra. His plans, unlike hers, are mostly well-thought-out and he doesn’t rush into anything. Sometimes bashful and very shy. Isn’t really a ladies-man, but wishes to one day have a loving mate, just like his father. Very curious and always looking for new knowledge.

He's very sensitve when it comes to weather changes and feels them before any sign of them is visible. 

Likes:

Spending time with his family, following his sister around, his sister’s best friend Zima, the other Silver Herd members, listening to stories, peace, evenings under the stars, exploring with the other fawns

Dislikes:

When his sister gets into trouble, his parents arguing with his sister for getting into trouble, storms, being left alone, fighting, mean bucks, man, rushing into danger, thorns, has a deep dislike for rivers

History:

Fir was the second-born fawn of Malia and Serey. He was born in a stormy night, when his mother was left without the herd’s safety after being separated while the herd was moved because of some trouble.

When it started raining in the evening, Malia sought shelter in a small forest of firs, for her pelt was already soaked and she felt that birth was coming closer. Little did she know that she would give birth to her young son in the middle of this storm.

Fir could still remember the howling of the wind, the creaking and groaning of the trees and the crashing of thunder during the first few hours of his life. Malia had a hard time drying his pelt, and she could still remember how both of them lay shaking, snuggled up close to each other.

It was a surprise to Serey, Javam, Malvon and the others who had been searching for her when they found her dozing under a massive fir tree with a newborn fawn lying cuddled up next to her hooves. They led both frozen and exhausted deer to the place where the herd was resting, and Fir was happy about it.

His early childhood was uneventful. He spent a lot of time with his older sister when his mother was foraging, later followed around almost everyone, and I mean everyone – Lyra, his parents, Zima, Javam, Malvon…everyone! -, but not before asking politely if they were okay with it.

He especially loved joining Zima on her adventures with the other woodland creatures, and found it to be rather interesting how easily she got along with every kind of animal. He didn't quite understand it, but it was fascinating for him, and he was eager to learn. 

He doesn’t like rivers, though, as he one time almost drowned when he fell into one while playing with the other fawns, and his father had to jump in and pull him out.
