Personality: Kind and caring, but a bit agressive, Merida is a take-charge kind of gal, and won't let others stand in her way. She has a soft spot for Bambi, and will stand up against others that bully him, including Ronno. She secretly likes him, despite this, but isn't afraid to be angry at him. Her love for Mena is strong, but she becomes torn in two, but her loyalty lies with Bambi and Ronno. Her willingness to lead is strong, and benefits others, as she works well under pressure. She tries her best to remain calm, but its hard to tame a wild spirit.

History: She was born to Mena and an unknown male buck of their herd. She grew up there partly, until her mother was called away to help raise a young fawn named Bambi. At first, she was glad for a new adventure, but afterwards, as time went on and their journey became harder, she regretted ever setting hoof out of the territory. During the journey, they were attacked by dogs, but escaped, thankfully without any injuires except a sprained hoof. They couldn't move for a few days, making it longer. Finally, they arrived, and she got to meet Bambi. Soon, the young buck grew on her, and they became great friends, even acting like brother and sister. When she first met Ronno, she thought he was nice, until he began to pick on Bambi. She often told him to back off, reprimanding him for being mean to Bambi.

These feelings were conflicting for her, as she loved Ronno, but was always angry at him for torturing Bambi. Later, she met Faline, who was a great childhood friend. They often complained about how the bucks fought over the simplest things. She soon saw that Ronno only had eyes for Faline, which did upset her, but not so much that she wouldn't be friends with her anymore. She knew Faline liked Bambi better, which was quite settling. When Mena had to leave, she was torn as to where to go. She thought about it, and decided to stay, and said an extremely teary goodbye to her mother. As she grew into an adult, she tried endlessly to get Ronno's attention whilst continuing to stand up for Bambi.

She watched as Ronno did the final battle with Bambi over Faline, and she wished that she could stop it, but knew that they had to fight this battle on their own. She was glad that Ronno was defeated, and she took to him, trying to give him a little bit of happiness in life. Soon, he took her as a mate, since she seemed like the best choice beside Faline. When Bambi and Faline's fawns were born, she went to see them while Ronno stayed home. After seeing that, she was thinking of having fawns of her own. She finally persuaded Ronno to accept, and soon, she was expecting her own fawns. She finally gave birth to her first fawn, named Aberdeen, and later on, two fawns named Mordi and Mary.
