Relation to "Bambi": Soldier was born in the Forest. He also became The Great Prince's army captain.

Personality : He is old-fasioned, and likes to follow old traditions and customs. He is usually a buoyant, cheerful character.

History

Soldier's parents joined The Great Prince's herd, and he was born within it. He was close with all the deer of the forest. When he grew up he trained young bucks to fight. His best pupil was  Malvon, to whom Soldier passed on every secret fighting tecnique he knew. 

Soldier became The Great Prince's captain and led his own group of stags. But later on he chose to leave the herd, because he felt the deer under his orders were becoming out of hand. So one night he left and joined The Silver Herd (Malvon's herd).

Note: most deer in The Silver Herd don't use Soldier's birth name, but enjoy calling him 'Tariq', meaning 'night visitor' (because Soldier joined The Silver Herd at night) or ' Dyad Cicatrix', meaning 'Two Scar'.
